Satisfying teeth clean for Jessie the cocker spaniel today.

She struggles with bad breath so we clipped out her tooth pocket, cleaned her teeth and tooth pocket with the Emmipet ultrasonic toothbrush and used Leucillin to help kill the bacteria causing the unpleasant odour.

I’m sure she felt much better afterwards ❤️

Having sadly lost a few of our elderly canine clients recently, we are looking to add to our bank of dogs groomed for half price by our well supervised students.

Our students produce beautiful grooms and the dogs are exceptionally well looked after. They are given cuddles and go for a short walk during the day, together with rests and fresh water between grooming sessions.

Long, wool, wire or silky coated dogs are suitable - sorry no short coated breeds.

Recently, we’ve seen a wave of negativity aimed at a fellow groomer over a post that spiralled out of control. It’s a stark reminder of how we behave as a collective in this industry—and how we all have a part to play in shaping the tone.

Before social media, if someone had a bad day or a tricky groom, it stayed in the salon. Now, one post can invite a thousand opinions—many of them unkind. This applies not only to groomers but also to TRADE SUPPLIERS who are too often the target of public blame.

💻 Behind every post is a person.
🗣️ Behind every brand is a small team doing their best.
❤️ Behind every mistake is an opportunity to support—not shame.

We get it—everyone wants views, likes, validation. But here’s a gentle reminder:
If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.

Let’s lift each other up, not tear each other down.
Let’s bring the kindness back into grooming.
Let’s be the community we all want to be part of.
