A year ago I set myself the challenge of creating a whole new pattern book in just over a month. To be very honest, it was how I tried to processed the grief of miscarriage.

This year, I’m working on my new collection book, and things couldn’t be more different with the new babe.

I’m really enjoying our baby bubble craft time. While she’s slept on me I’ve managed some knitting and cross stitch. I’m only picking easy project due to the lack of sleep, but next I’m hoping to start a temperature mushroom almanac in ecru to mark her birth year! 🍄

Catch Lisa this weekend at ! She’ll be there representing me with a range of Under the Sea, Beside the Seaside and some of my best selling knitting kits.🦈

Lisa learnt to knit during the pandemic, and had made quite a few of my designs, so she’ll be happy to chat all things knitting!

We’ll be chilling out at home with little Connie. We watched Jaws (first time for me), so maybe we’ll go for the Goonies this weekend.

A few of you have got in touch to ask if I’ll still be at yarn shows and the answer is a big YES - in some form!

Next weekend the lovely Lisa will be trading at for me. She’ll have a selection of knitting kits, patterns and books. I’m gutted to miss it, but am really happy to have Lisa there representing me.

We’ll still be at our usual A/W shows, with Pete taking the lead behind the stand. I have had to cancel K&S Belfast, as it might be a bit much with the new baby, but hope to return next year.

We’re taking it as easy possible in SL land. Babe is doing well and I’m slowly recovering.

We had a little trip to the studio to boss Pete about as he made your orders. We’re still shipping kits, but it may take us a few days longer than usual. We’re also hoping to launch the big mushroom cross stitch kits next week. 🍄
