So the Great Global Greyhound Walk 2025

The theme for the 2025 GGGW is...LOVE!

The Theme has been set as 'LOVE' so get the thinking caps on and get searching for those love heart themed collars for your hounds and of course matching outfits for you owners.

We are looking forward to the walk again this year and can only hope we get everyone who attended last year to bring along their hound friends. Let's fill the grounds of Cannon Hall with the largest pack of sighthounds anyone can imagine

They always say you should never have favourites but I have to say today’s Tongue out Tuesday model Puma has stolen my heart… he’s a gentle soul with the cutest little Mohawk !
Why not give us a call on 01142888300 any day between nine am and noon and come and meet Puma and all his friends
You might lose your heart to a greyhound too !

Flo

Flo is a beautiful fluffy girl who adores a fuss, cuddles and likes treats from her human friends. She has a beautiful frosted face and gorgeous light brown eyes.
Flo has lived in a home previously and unfortunately is now looking for a sofa of her own again due to sad circumstances that are no fault of her own. At 10, Flo prefers the quiet life, her own space and all the fuss and cuddles. Flo is used to being the apple of your eye and would prefer to stay centre stage rather than sharing attention with any other dogs or little humans. When I took Flo out, the lane was quiet and she really appreciated the peace, all we could hear were bird song, bees and the wind rustling in the trees. Flo enjoyed the gentle walk and would be happy in a home with a garden she can also potter around. One thing that definitely stood out was, Flo is a sun worshipper. We stopped for a while on our walk and she took in the warmth of the sun, turning her face into it & squeezing her eyes shut. It was such a lovely moment to watch this old girl enjoy the warm weather. If you think you'd be able to give Flo the serenity she needs in her older years, please get in touch. She may be a senior but aren't they all puppies at heart?

Damien

Meet our resident 007 of the kennels, Damien! This cheeky chap is devishly handsome, has a permanent dapper tuxedo and a personality which will charm you from the moment he walks out of his kennel. Spy jokes aside, Damien is a truly wonderful boy who has been overlooked time and time again. His main interests are tasty treats, his favourite rubber snake toy, walks filled with lots of interesting sniffs and most importantly, lots of snuggles. He walks beautifully on the lead and loves a good brush to keep that gorgeous coat of his s**c and span. His cheeky personality really shines in kennels, but more than anything this beautiful boy deserves his forever family and forever sofa.
