Tess & Tilly

Tess & Tilly are 2 Border Terriers who came to us for rehoming from the local dog warden after they were found straying together and never claimed., and with no chips.. it was impossible to try and reunite them. They’ve both clearly had several litters of puppies in the past, so we presume they were ex-breeding dogs that got abandoned.

They’re estimated between 5-7yrs old… we think Tess (on the left) is slighter older than Tilly. Possibly Mother/Daughter?

They cohabit well, but will squabble over food… we would happily rehome them together, but would possibly consider homing them apart depending on the right home.
Both are timid to start with, whilst they do tend to give each other confidence.. Tilly is more interactive than Tess, and will happily come over to you for a fuss!

They can be vocal towards other dogs, but are generally okay if they actually get up to them… however many dogs are out off by the commotion they create! 🙈

When off lead in our exercise compounds, they love to run around together and investigate everything.. however they are always looking for a way out… so a secure garden is a must!

We want to say a massive GOOD LUCK to Hollie as she sets off for Scotland today.

The 3 Peaks in 36 Hrs Challenge for Border Terrier Welfare starts with Ben Nevis, so Hollie is travelling up today to be ready to start her epic endeavour tomorrow.

We know Hollie's a little nervous, but having put in the hard training hours and with all of us right behind her, hopefully she's got this! 💪
