More Exciting News!
We're very proud to announce that our Companion Animal Team have been named as 2026 Champions in the prestigious RCVS Knowledge Awards. This is in recognition of our work on anaesthetic safety - particularly stress in patients which need to come in for surgery - if you've heard us talking about "Calming Kits" these are things that we've put in place to make our anaesthetics as safe as possible and we've noticed big improvements when these have been used.

Harriet Robinson C-SQP

Harriet joined the Dalehead in 2021 and completed her Amtra in 2023 in companion.

Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time & Full Time)

Here at Dalehead Veterinary Group it is a very exciting time as we mark our centenary year with the opening of new branch practice in Skipton. We are looking for bright and cheerful team players to join our proactive, friendly Tier 2 practice. These are front of house roles predominantly based at our Skipton surgery, with the flexibility to cover shifts at our Settle main surgery and Bentham branch practice when needed.

Our hours of business are 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday – Thursday, 8.30am-5.30pm Friday and Saturday 9am until noon and the positions will in shifts to cover these hours. Flexibility is also essential to cover additional hours as required.

Candidates must have exceptional organisational and communication skills, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to multitask whilst maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and ensuring that jobs are carried through to completion in this busy environment. They must have the confidence and ability to work on their own initiative and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.

Veterinary Surgeon – Companion Animal
Role may suit New or Recent Graduate

We are expanding our Companion Animal department with a new purpose-designed surgery in Skipton opening in Autumn 2026.
We’re looking for a small animal vets (eligible to work in UK) to join our experienced team at this exciting stage in our independent practice’s development.

If your priorities include - a healthy, respectful workplace culture, clinical freedom, collaborative teamwork, personal and professional development – then we’d love to hear from you and discuss our proposal for:

· 4-day week
· Shared OOH on-call provision across the full vet team
· Competitive Salary (37k + depending on experience)
