A little bit of exciting news today. We'd like to welcome you to Petiquette Home Dog Boarding!

For almost 17 years you've loved our custom made collars and leads, but now we're opening our front door and will care for your small and toy breeds while you're on holiday!

It can be difficult to find somewhere that your dog will be able to relax and enjoy the creature comforts they're used to, and that's why we'll only be accepting a maximum of 2 dogs from a single home at a time, who'll share their stay with Kevin, our Miniature Poodle.

We hold a 4-Star licence from Northumberland County Council, the highest rating a home boarder can achieve with their first inspection, so you can relax knowing that your dog is in great hands.

Welcome to Petiquette Home Dog Boarding 🐾

We're a fully licensed home-from-home boarding service in Seaton Delaval, exclusively for small and toy breeds.

We only board dogs from a single family and no more than two at a time, so you don't need to worry whether they'll be settled and receiving the love they need while you're away.

We hold a 4-Star licence from Northumberland County Council (NAL/368), the highest rating a home boarder can achieve with their first inspection, and every stay starts with a meet and greet so we can be sure it's the right fit for your dog before anything is booked.

Your dogs will stay with our friendly Miniature Poodle, Kevin, who'll make all of our visitors feel at home.

I've updated our leather safety tag collars so there are now two styles featuring our breakaway clasps.

I'd love to know which style you prefer for your pup. Let me know in the comments, A or B?

A - The integrated o-ring, attached on both sides (mushroom leather)
B - The external o-ring, which sits outward for easy ID tag attachment

I’ve just sent an email out to our newsletter community, but I wanted to share a quick, honest update here with everyone on social media, too.

Petiquette was born out of a desire to make something genuinely different, built to last, and above all, completely comfortable for your dogs. Every single collar starts with a natural veg-tan leather core wrapped in premium Italian calf leather , and every single Swarovski crystal is a bevel-set rivet that I secure by hand, one by one, right here in the workshop.

Because I refuse to compromise on the quality of our leather or hardware, the reality of the current economic climate means the cost of running a small, home-based business has risen significantly. To keep Petiquette sustainable and ensure I can carry on doing what I love for years to come, our prices will be increasing on Sunday 12th July.

I wanted to give you plenty of notice, so if you’ve had your eye on something special for your hound, our current pricing is locked in until then.

Thank you all so much for supporting this small business, sharing photos of your beautiful dogs out in the wild, and being part of the family. There is truly nothing better than knowing something made by hand here gets to go out and make your hound the sparkliest princess (or most handsome chap) in the neighbourhood.

I can’t quite believe that it’s been two years today since we said goodbye to my little man, Jimmy.
Looking through photos today with a little tear in my eye (which was promptly licked off by Kevin!).
It was definitely the right time to let Jimmy go, but I still have a little pang of guilt no matter how much time passes.
