A question for our Iggy owners.

We currently make our Italian Greyhound collars 1.5" wide. Would you like to see the option of having a slightly narrower 1.25" wide option too for the really petite puppers?

A message for our US customers.

From 29 August 2025, new import tariffs will apply to all goods entering the USA — part of an executive order introduced by Donald Trump.

As a small UK business, we’re sadly not in a position to absorb these extra charges. So in the coming days, we’ll be required to add a tax to all US orders to cover the cost of these new duties.

We know this isn’t ideal, and we wish it weren’t happening — but we want to be upfront.

If you’ve had your eye on a collar, now’s a good time to order before the changes come in.

Thanks so much for your continued support.

Isn't it amazing when two dogs forge an amazing bond? Heidi & Kevin may not live together, but are absolutely inseparable whenever they see each other. Plus, they're both kind of cute 😍🐩🐾

Having a new puppy has made me find as much info online to make sure he grows up to be the perfect dog. I’ve always known that you shouldn’t allow pups to jump or do stairs for a while as it could damage their joints, but found this post which is fascinating and explains why beautifully. Handy if you’re bringing a new pup home.

When you get your 8 week old puppies, please keep these images in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

When you're letting your puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

Our Story

After becoming increasingly frustrated at the lack of well made leather dog collars for a very special Westie named Harry, I decided to take matters into my own hands and taught myself how to create a collar that I thought suited his personality.

The first collar was a bit rough a ready (to say the least), but I found that working with leather seemed to come naturally to me, so after several months of honing my newly found collar making skills, it was time to show them off to the world, and on Christmas Eve of 2009, the Petiquette website was launched.

Initially working from a dingy garage with no heating and barely any light, collars were hand made and sent around the globe, but it soon became apparent that I'd need more suitable working conditions, so the garage was converted into a gleaming workshop, stacked high with leathers from the finest tanneries of Italy and sparkling Swarovski crystals from Austria.
