A couple of videos from our Environmental/Confidence building session. for Scooby.

Scooby will bark, lunge, chase other dogs si much so that the owners struggle to hold him ... Just in full transparency and openess - he even had me over today with a full on run (Long lines hey 🤣🤣) luckily no video evidence exists lol.... I hope anyway !!

Today was about widening Scooby's world and giving him controlled exposure to triggers - we were not looking for "obedience" or "compliance " we were looking for him to remain calm and regulate his emotional self rather than forcing suppression of his feelings - This builds confidence and trust !!!

We will increase the criteria over time !!!

He did awesome and his Mum was so so happy to see him like this today !!

She managed at the end of the evening to walk past with one on a drive with no lunging ... she gets so overstimulated this will be a challenge.... next session she meets Bliss !!

What a lovely follow up session with Midnight ... he.was unfortunately set up.on by an off Leash dog and his training went backwards for a time but what massive progress - I could get in the house and he settled immediately even engaging with me .... the owners have had people to stay (not possible before).

Another Beauty .... Rocco struggles with the "off lead in yer face" Dogs ....
This has resulted in him becoming hyper vigilant when out and losing focus ti his Mum.

On today's session we were unfortunately greeted as soon as we got on the road with a neighbours JRT that just barked a Rocco through their gate ... which set Rocco off on the back foot- it took us a while to get him "back in the room" .... and then saw two dogs with a dogvwalker a Neighbours Cockapoo and he did amazing...... we even got him focusing on his mum and taking food and instruction from her 💪❤️👏🕺💃❤️. AMAZING !!!

What a wonderful session with Harley (Colle) and his little sister Luna (Cocker Spaniel).

Harley like all self respecting collies has learnt how to gain attention (extinction burst) .... he also following points of conflict/stress will seek comfort in objects and then resource guard !!

So today was about spotting triggers, putting management and control in place along with some training protocols to chaing the ECR emotional conditioned response!

Well done all !!
