This Afternoons trio of trouble makers 😁🤣

Meet Kioji, Cooper and Little Otis.

Kioji is at that wonderful adolescent age of 1 year old - he is a sweetheart but a handful when his mum comes home or he gets over stimulated- mouthing and jumpy behaviour starts.

So we implemented strategies for all these behaviours so they could learn what we do want!! (see video off mums attempt at coming home 💪🕺💃👏🤞

Cooper attention barks because it works so again strategies im place to show him it now will not work but being calm and quiet pays.

He can also prevent Mum and Dad from hugging which then gets Kioji and Otis involved.

Otis - well he's just a dear old boy partially blind and dear and has to cope with his bigger, younger, bouncier brothers!!

Some great work to build on in our next session 💪💪

This is the beautiful Kalli ... shecis a highly over- stimulated girl who dysregulates on seeing dogs .... there are no fancy tricks to do here .... we have to focus on getting her to slow down and calm that brain down .... its also about teaching her to do this in multiple situations and then raising the criteria!!

So pleased with her progress today so much more to do and lots of rehearsal- she also has some health issues that are not helping like allergies and itchiness- these will also impact her behaviour!!

She smashed her place training and we also managed to have a young child family member run around while she watched - normally she'd be joining in - Great start but so much more to do 👏💯💃🕺🤞💪💪💪💪

Next up ... environmentals and young Bliss !!

I got to work with this beautiful boy; Midnight, yesterday.

When I entered the home he did not want anything to do with me and would stick like glue to mum and dad .... here isxa small, simple but powerful confidence game thats adds a little pressure (one he can cope with and not pushing too far) to teach him a better coping strategy.....

He smashed it !!!!

I got to work with this beautiful boy; Midnight, yesterday.

He is terrified of the world possibly due to some trauma..... he barks at visitors constantly and is startled by everything..... he cannot cope with the unknown!!!

We got to work and managed to settle him within half an hour where he would let me stroke him and he would take food from his owners on sight of me ... by the end of the session he was able to walk away from his owners (we have a video to follow) and take treats from me and even came and cuddled on the sofa 💪🕺💃💯👏👏👏👏

AWESOME !!!

What a great session with Belle today- a young 8 month old Working Cocker Spaniel ..... who needs yo learn calmness ... especially as both hips are causing discomfort.... shes having physio and hydrotherapy but still needs to learn an off switch ......

So we covered ......
Arousal up / Arousal Down
Calmness patterns
Bed/place games
Loose lead / Calm walks
Focus and building duration

We went out to work with a very scared boy this morning ..... Scoobi barks at visitors to the home and is reactive on walks ....

We have started on getting the basics/foundations of focus and disengagement going ..... but on his first test he did so well.....

I am looking forward to seeing this boys confidence grow 💪💯💃🕺👏

What a fabulous Session with Zelda today .... she is like a helium balloon in a storm when she sees cars, vans and busses......

We use safe distances and gentle exposure to help change the Conditioned Emotional Response.... using desensitisation and counter conditioning....

Over time we will shrink the distance down to help ....

Great progress today ❤️💪💃🕺💯👏
