On 30th June, Nikki from Bluestone Hydrotherapy, Yvonne from Cats Protection and Jenni from Salisbury Dog Trainers joined us for our first Coffee Morning. ☕️

The morning consisted of a tour of the practice and a video session with Burgess Diagnostics Limited show casing the benefits of CT imaging, finished off nicely with refreshments of course!

As a practice we will be looking to host another coffee morning with our team in time to celebrate our 9 year practice anniversary. 🎈 and would love for you to join us!

This is a great post from one of the best behaviourists we have ever met. We have the pleasure of being associated with Nick and other top behavioural experts in the UK, through our M7 membership. All of us using positive reinforcement training and upholding the highest standards and ethics.

Don’t be fooled by social media crazy dog trainers that act like they know it all whilst trying to remain humble. Dog trainers that use time and time again in their posts that there clients have tried with other trainers and failed. We all have different ideals of what we want from our dogs what is perfect and what is not

What an amazing bunch of dog behaviourists I have the pleasure of associating with.

As the oldest serving member of the M7 a group of highly experienced and qualified ethical dog behavioural specialists. I have watched this group evolve into what is truly a magnificent organisation.

This was our first live meet up, (away from team zoom meetings) unfortunately not everyone could make it but for those that did I am in ore of you guys.

There is about 100 years experience in this photo, you can rest assured we have seen it all.

Hats off to Nick our clinical animal behaviourist and Steve our famous member 😂 for holding the fort during the evening event which I couldn’t stay for 🥲

Hats of to Michael Pipe our business consultant and friend for founding and overseeing all of our businesses. We appreciate and owe you so much for helping us all these years .

Always sad to say goodbye to my lovely puppies 🐶 that attend my 4 week Puppy school.

But all good things must end🐾🐾

A fantastic range of pups with amazing owners that were a pleasure to educate.

My school starting next weds is fully booked so I look forward to that and my next available course starts on Weds 2nd May

Seems appropriate that a client with a Finnish Lapphund, picks a dog behaviourist that comes from Finland. 🐕🐾 it was certainly a breath of fresh air working with this lovely fellow and his family. Of course I had to use English commands instead of Finnish, but like me I’m sure he could understand both languages 🤣

As I approach my 27th year as a dog behaviourist it feels like I have seen it all, yet there are still plenty of suprises on the horizon and working with Teemu here was no exception.

This year has become one of the busiest starts to a year since the COVID year of 2020. I just hope I can find the time to accommodate all of the enquires coming through!! 🐾🐾🐾

This is Duke, my 3rd German Shepherd case this week. His owners heard that I’m an expert with all dogs and they also found out that I have rescued and rehabilitated German Shepherds in my family life!!

Dukes owners had already hired a previous dog trainer who left them with an empty feeling after nothing was achieved. The were even told that Duke was untrainable 🤣🤣

This clip was before I starting helping them with Dukes behaviour. As even the unprofessional eye can see that he isn’t to difficult around dogs.

Duke has a number of things going on including pulling, reacting to traffic, people dogs etc. but Duke is far from untrainable in fact for me this is easy. His owners just need to take control, use good communication and fulfill his expectations as a high energy German Shepherd.

Over the coming weeks I will post an update on Dukes training. I am 100% confident that perfection is on the near horizon.

Dukes owners certainly got some value for money today and I’m so happy they found me

Before and after footage!!

Whether you like them or not, many dog trainers swear by them. It’s the proof we all need that we are choosing the right trainer for ourselves and our dogs. 😜

For me. before and afters are sometimes just to complicated to capture. I work with many extremely difficult cases and I work alone. Many of my clients prefer not to be filmed for social media likes 👍 to be honest I don’t blame them.

But a few recent clients gave me the thumbs up and I did my best to capture these. Watching them back even for me doesn’t fill me with the WOW factor. I don’t think they really do the training justice. None of these are the finished products in fact all of them are at the hour stage during the training process with me.

This also shows a difference in a short time, but not the nitty gritty of the training, the root problems are much harder to articulate in a Video and how we rehabilitate this.

In conclusion I don’t need videos to help grow my reputation just results that transfer into reviews and referrals. It’s this that ultimately feeds me new work on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
