Fairfields Farm Riding School & Livery A family-based Equestrian Centre on the outskirts of Ryde. ​We are committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for riders of all levels.

Fairfields Farm riding school and livery is a small and quiet yard based on the outskirts of Ryde on the Isle of Wight. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside offering many downland hacks and beach riding. We are licenced by the Isle of Wight Council (Ref LIC/24/1375/RIDEST) and are fully insured. We offer a fully personalised service catering for all ages and abilities. Including horse riding lessons, hacks, birthday parties, pony days, camps and other horse activities and experiences.

📅 2026 is shaping up to be a brilliant year at Fairfields Riding, we have a jam-packed itinerary of jumping and dressage shows, pony club activities and events and our usual lessons and hacks.

Here’s what’s happening:

🏇 Weekly Lessons (from January 2026)
• Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays – Private 1:1 and semi-private lessons (30–45 mins) | After school/work lessons: 3.30, 4.30 & 5.30 pm
• Wednesdays – Advanced lessons with Robert Booth (3–6 pm)
• Thursdays – Plus Back in the Saddle Adult Hack (11 am–12 pm)
• Saturdays – Group lessons, hacks, private & semi-private sessions
• Kids Club+ – Saturdays 9 am–12 pm (£5 per hour)

🏆 Special Events
• Winter Showjumping (1) – Sunday 25th January
• Open Dressage (1) - Sunday, 1st February
• Winter Showjumping (2) - Sunday 22nd February
• Open Dressage (2) - Sunday, 8th March
• Winter Showjumping (3) - Sunday 29th March

🤩Wow look at our gorgeous riding school pony Bluebell - doesn’t she look lovely with her new clip. 🐴She’s been an absolute superstar in our riding school but has now found her special person and a new home. 🏡Don’t worry you will still see her at the yard as she has been bought by one of our lovely liveries Coral. We wish them all the happiness in the world and can’t wait to see how this relationship blossoms. 🙌💕🎉

Wow what a year 2025 was!

We packed in so much from beach and downs rides, jumping and dressage shows, summer camp, Pony days, launching our Pony Club and pulling a team together at the County show.

🐴Plus of course our usual lessons and hacks!

Big thanks to all our customers and staff and to Vivid Catering for keeping us well fed and watered.

📆We have a jam packed calendar of events planned for 2026, so keep an eye on our social media.

🐴Hands up who enjoyed our last pony day Christmas special with Kerry? 🙌

The children had an added craft session and made some stunning cards and decorations alongside plenty of riding.

🔔We have just one more pony day the holiday - Tuesday, 30th December!

Suitable for all ages and abilities, jam-packed with riding, games, stable management and festive fun!

Day runs 11am -3pm and costs just £35.

🐴🌲MERRY CHRISTMAS to all our customers, liveries, friends and family. 🎅🏼The ponies and Team Fairfield’s are taking a few days off. We will be back on Saturday, 27th December for lessons and hacks. Have the best time and see you Saturday. 🥂🍾🤶

🔥 Christmas Special Pony Day 23.12.25 🐴

Don’t forget it’s our Christmas Pony Day tomorrow! The lovely Kerry (who owns our working livery Dorris) will be helping you get on the creative spirit with a special crafting session.

Alongside riding and team games, you will also get to make your own cards and decorations.

💡Day runs from 11am - 3pm do perfect if you want to drop the kids off and get some lady minute shopping in. 🎁
