Message from the Good Citizen Coordinator/Trainer:

A friend from our Good Citizen course has just messaged me about a distressing incident at her work today. 3 dogs were left in a car, in today's heat. Despite best efforts, one died. PLEASE don't leave dogs in cars in hot weather.

Dogs can quickly overheat and die in hot cars, even on relatively mild days. Even with windows cracked or shade, the temperature inside a car can rise to dangerous levels within minutes.

Reminder - if your dog is coughing or has kennel cough, please do not bring your dog up to club.

Find out about kennel cough in dogs, how contagious it can be, how your dog can catch it, what symptoms to expect and when to speak to the vet.
