Ticks! 🪳

This week I’ve had 2 dogs come in with a tick on - one between the toes, and the other on the back of the neck under the collar, both prime locations for ticks to hide! The one under the collar was only made visible because of the dryer allowing me to see down to the skin of a double coated dog. It was so small I thought it was a flea!

Just a reminder to keep up to date with flea and tick treatments from the vets (not frontline) at this time of year. Especially if you regularly walk through woodland, long grass and meadows. They can carry disease and pass them onto humans too 😖

Unfortunately I am having an operation on 16th June, this means availability beforehand is very limited. I will try my absolute best to fit you all in 💖
I have strict instructions to have 2 weeks off minimum, and then I will be taking it easy when I am back. I hope you all understand if I can’t fit you in straight away and your lovely doggies may have to go a couple more weeks before they are normally due in 🐩
