With this dry weather the grass seeds start to harden up and they become a nightmare for dogs and pet owners alike. Definitely start checking your dogs pads and feet after walks. Your dog will thank you, your wallet will thank you and the vet won’t thank you.

Please all watch out for grass seeds as we head into summer. These little critters, which you’ll probably see on walks right now, can be absolutely dreadful once embedded in your dog’s skin and they have been known to work their way right through paws, into lungs and down ear canals. Ask anyone that has had the misfortune of being on the receiving end of these seeds and what their vet bill was like - it can honestly run into hundreds of pounds. Give your dog the once over after every walk you go on.

The latest edition to our leather range is The Barwick, a messenger style bag.

Like all our leather products, this bag is entirely handmade and hand stitched (in Thriplow, UK) using classic saddle stitching techniques and each bag requires over 3000 stitches to be assembled.

The leather we use is carefully selected by us and each component piece is cut by hand using traditional leather tools. Being a relatively large bag, The Barwick is the perfect accessory for work, university or school and is also ideal as an overnight bag.

Each bag is made to order and can be personalised if you so wish. There is a lead time of 8 weeks and the cost per bag is £325. If you would like to order one or require more information please send a message or email [email protected]
