Please note and I don’t want to do this but due to the cost of my electricity and water and all my products which I ensure I always have the best of! My charges will go up for each dog by £5 from May the 1st and I will also be introducing a new non refundable first booking fee of 50% for the first booking. I have a long waiting list for clients and have never had to enforce this but people have forced my hand and genuinely I’m a small business and my time is very precious, I’ve had a few no shows and that isn’t on and I also pay a student so you must realise my time and hers is precious too ! This is NOT acceptable on any level - I trust you will understand and respect my decision - as always my interests are in the best nature of your animal in my care! Kind regards Andrea 💜🐾

This is little Cassie who I had the pleasure of grooming a few days ago, never did I know i had genuinely found my calling after a life time in housing and am so proud and grateful to be able to give something back and I’m happy to be associated and in collaboration with Heathland’s - an amazing animal charity… feeling very humble today 💜🐾

Some of my favourite floofs….. Think I had the biggest compliment this weekend when I groomed lovely Maddy the Red setter - her dad said considering she is 14 ‘ since you’ve been cutting her hair she had a brand new lease of life’ that girl bounced out of here like a puppy and is amazing to see! 💜🐾🐾

This is a customers beautiful cat, please can you look out for him, very anxious and timid and usually doesn’t wander or go out, can local people check their sheds and gardens etc! Let’s get this little man home 💜🐾

Well I’m definitely back in the driving seat and what a fabulous Friday it has been, Sun is shining and air con on with the best clients and catching up! Waterproof is magic 🤣 I’ve Been back in my little salon today and all has gone well! Ive been so excited about returning to work after major surgery and paced myself! I’ve groomed 3 dogs as am not to over do it / but fab to be back into it as I need to pace Myself snd not go mental !! But maybe missed to take a photo of the pooch after these two! Delighted to say I’ve still got it and-a teeth clean too! Lovely way to ease myself back to work for sure 💜🐾🐾

I did promise to update you all, surgery went just as planned , no complications, i am out of hospital & resting as per recovery plan and had the best sleep under Anaesthesia ever ! Back with you all soon to make your babies look beautiful as planned 🐾💜###

And….that’s it. I’ve finished my week by finally having time to groom my own 3 crazy Spaniels, They looked homeless and like they didn’t belong to anyone🤦🏽‍♀️ So Proper Busman’s holiday today. Be reminded even if I’m booked up - We have Rosie here who will qualify at the end of May with exactly the same Level 3 Diploma as I have, however I’m shutting my doors to have a proper rest until April, so keep any new enquiries coming and we will try and fit you in x

I am now closed until April. Messages will be periodically checked as mentioned but do not expect a reply for the next week.

Been so busy here over the last week or so and even with lovely Rosie here….We
have had rapid turnarounds to fit you all in. PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT I WILL NOT BE RESPONDING TO MESSAGES ON ANY PLATFORM FROM
FRIDAY 14th of MARCH due to leave.

I will be returning to work in April and still have Rosie with me to catch up for the time I’m having off. I shall only check my phone occasionally after the first week so do not expect an immediate reply. If you do want to book, please do so in the usual way asap - I will see you all when I get back and very much look forward to it.

AND WE BLOODY ACED IT!! HAPPY 1ST birthday TO Moore than just A groom Ltd ! We did it and we absolutely smashed it 💜🐾🐾🐾🐾

1 year ago I opened up alone after being told by a fellow groomer I’d never make it alone? Haha 👏🏽

TODAY I stand so proud ❤️I started against the odds health wise, but wholeheartedly had family backing and Martin and my in-laws and boys and so many lovely local friends telling me I could do this and I have !! I just walked out of my old job / no clients no cares and best decision ever made!!

Today to mark my 1 year anniversary I have a thriving business, I’m having to turn people away despite having a level 3 diploma student assisting me a few days a week!! I absolutely did it ….. you all know I’m a crying sap to realise this but I sold my soul when I started, Ben Miller, you got me off my feet!! With your awesome advertising, Gerard you made me a website and plonked me on Google.

I walked away from the previous place with no clients and now I have to push them back 2 months to fit them in!

My husband Martin Moore who has been the driving force ( mainly cos he wants to retire soon 😂) I am joking ! Seriously he worked every extra hour to make this happen with so many different trades and contractors! I married a good one ❤️

But thanks to all my family and beautiful friend and I guess my colleagues are my animals!

If you told me a year ago I’d be qualified to groom cats I’d say you were mental? Now I seriously love it 🐾🐾

I think that’s enough as it’s kind of an oscar speech but I did it and I’m doing it well and I’m booked for months ahead!

Oh and Ashley Hawkins for all his support with advertising and getting me involved with the charity and sponsorship stuff which we have done bloody great at - considering I can’t run for a bus !!!

Watch this space for a training academy later this year! I’ve already taught my little protege Rosie Ogilvie everything I can and I can’t wait to see what the future holds?

What a year but genuinely I’m shattered of the 7 day weeks to fit you all in and I look forward to my little stint in hospital where I’m forced to rest as you know …. That’s not me!! See you all soon and lastly a massive massive massive massive thank you to all that you put your trust In me - I wouldn’t be this small and thriving happy business and teaching those who are keen to learn without any of your support!!
