🐾Rex's Training Journey🐾

I worked with Rex and his family to build up his confidence around getting ready/going for walks and some separation anxiety. He would get very anxious around his collar/lead and wouldn't want to go out of the front door. We worked on some engagement and confidence building around his walking tools and the front door, eventually he was able to get ready and go towards the door confidently! We also worked on a place cue to help him settle easier, and used this to help him stay calm around the door. He did so well with everything! It was so nice to see his confidence get better each session and his family can now enjoy taking him out for his walks ❤️🐾

When you get a dog, you get through the puppy phase, then out of nowhere the teenage phase hits. All dogs go through natural development, and changes in behaviours around this time are totally normal. Understanding, adjusting and consistency is key to getting through it. Confidence can drop, impulse control drops, and focus drops. Reactions happen more, barking happens more and distractions seem to take over. The Canine Coven has a tried and tested way of getting through!

🐾Barney's Training Journey🐾

Barney did my 1-1 Puppy Programme. Throughout the sessions we built up all the training foundations around focus, impulse control, engagement, lead walking and recall.
He did so well over the weeks. With the effort from his owners he was able to settle a lot easier in the house, was able to start practising impulse control more on his own, and walks became much more enjoyable.
He now has a fully personalised training plan and routine to help him continue his progress!
