A message from our chairman:
A huge huge thank you to everyone who made the Wyre show work, you all worked so hard!
Some thank you's are needed, first and foremost to the members, you worked so hard over the 3 days and also on all of the tasks on the run-up, a substantial amount of work and the team spirit you showed was second to none in my opinion. Even when we were all tired yesterday, you grafted and helped with the Galican contact weight lifting onto the van after a 12hr day!
A further thank you to our new Wyre members who joined at Christmas, all of you without exception, joined in our Wyre team camaraderie and you all helped in every way possible.
Thank you as well to our Show Manager's and Show Secretary, Hannah Mackenzie, Annie Heslop and Helen Pickering, you had smiles on your faces all weekend and organised things so well, great work!
To the judges, Daisy Hall, Tom Flynn, Paul Mackay, Toni Smith, Hannah Banks, Ellie Beach, Rhys Parrin, Adam Watson and Hannah Grantham, you all worked so hard setting some excellent courses and the excitement from the competitors and spectators especially in the champ ring was electric! At Wyre we take a long time organising judges to try and give the competitors the best experiences.
Lastly to the competitors, this was our largest ever entry, we had loads of positive feedback from loads of you, that is massively appreciated, we really hope you enjoyed.
Now we will review and looking forwards to see how we organise things given the rise in entries!
