Heat waves are on there way again and equestrian now more than ever are checking temperatures and trying to think of all the clever ways to keep our horses and animals cool.
Let’s all share our top tips in the comments to help each other out
Starting with:
💚try to offer good shade or shelter from the sun but be careful of stables getting to hot.
💚A good supply of fresh water and sloppy, wet feeds is an added way of making sure your horses are getting a good intake of hydration.
💚 Ride early mornings or late evenings to avoid the peak mid day heat.
