✨ Final Update: Alice, George, Kaia & Sally ✨

What a lovely week it has been spending time with these four wonderful characters while their family has been away.

🤍 Alice (Ali) has been an absolute little superstar. Despite her wobbliness, she's remained bright, determined and always ready for a tasty treat. It's been a privilege helping care for such a sweet senior girl.

🐰 George (Georgie) has kept me thoroughly entertained with his endless energy and cheeky personality. From zooming around his room to launching his stacking cups across the floor in protest whenever his favourite pillow treats ran low, he's certainly made me smile every day!

🖤 Kaia has been as beautiful and affectionate as ever. Whether it was gentle fusses, Dreamies, or curling up on my lap for a cuddle, she has been the perfect companion throughout the week.

🩶 And then there's Sally. Watching her confidence grow has been incredibly special. From being the elusive lady of the house to playing with sisal string, offering gentle head boops, and allowing me some careful strokes, she's made such wonderful progress and absolutely melted my heart.

Every pet has their own unique personality, and it's been a joy getting to know each of them. Thank you to their family for trusting me with their care. I will miss seeing all four of these beautiful souls every day.

☀️ Sunny Sunday Success Story! ☀️
I think it's safe to say I've finally been accepted by Sally. 🐾

When I first arrived, Sally preferred to admire me from a distance and perfect the art of disappearing whenever I entered the room. Fast forward to today, and not only did she come over for gentle fusses, but she also treated me to head boops, playtime with her favourite sisal string, and even sought me out for affection.

There's something incredibly special about earning the trust of a shy animal. It's never rushed and it's always on their terms. Seeing Sally go from hiding away to enjoying a little cuddle in the sunshine has absolutely made my day.

Meanwhile, Kaia continues to be her beautiful, affectionate self, happily supervising proceedings and reminding me that laps are for cats.

Wishing all my clients, their pets, and fellow animal lovers a wonderful sunny Sunday. May it be filled with purrs, head boops, and plenty of time spent with the animals who make our lives so much brighter. 🖤🐱

Another lovely day spent with this gorgeous little gang. 🐾

Alice is doing incredibly well and continues to amaze me with her determination. She's enjoying her treats and is looking bright and happy. 🤍

Meanwhile, George has been living up to his reputation as chief mischief-maker! He's been zooming around his room at full speed and, unfortunately, has now run out of his beloved pillow treats. His response? Launching his stacking cups across the room in protest, of course. 🐰😂

Kaia remains as beautiful and affectionate as ever. The moment I sit down, she's straight onto my lap for cuddles. She's such a gentle, trusting girl and I absolutely adore spending time with her. 🖤

And the biggest achievement of the day goes to Sally! After being understandably shy, she joined me for a play session with some sisal string from a scratching post and then allowed me to gently stroke her. To top it all off, I even received a little head boop. A huge step forward and a moment that definitely made me smile. 🥹

It's always so rewarding watching nervous pets grow in confidence and seeing each of their unique personalities shine through. 🐾

🐾 Meet Mellie, Tizzy & Bobby 🐾
This week I've had the pleasure of looking after three beautiful feline ladies, each with a personality all of their own.

💕 Mellie is the social butterfly of the group. She absolutely adores being brushed and is always happy to accept a treat or two (or three!).

🖤 Tizzy is a gorgeous fluffy black cat with the sweetest nature. She's incredibly friendly, loving and always happy to come over for a fuss and some company.

🌸 Bobby is the gentle, shy soul of the trio. She prefers to take her time getting to know people, but there's something so special about earning the trust of a timid cat.

One of my favourite things about pet sitting is getting to know each animal's unique personality. Even within the same family, no two cats are ever the same, and these three girls are a perfect example of that.

It's been lovely spending time with them all, and I can't wait to share more updates from their stay! 🐾

🐾 A little bit of everything this week... 🖤🐰🤍

This week's pet sitting assignment has brought me a wonderful mix of personalities, from affectionate lap cats to mischievous rabbits and a very special senior lady.

🖤 Kaia wasted no time making herself comfortable and has already claimed my lap as her favourite spot. She's incredibly gentle, loves her Dreamies and has been keeping me company throughout the day.

🧡 Sally is the household's resident mystery. This beautiful tortoiseshell girl prefers to observe from a distance and has spent much of her time hiding away, although I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of her today. Hopefully she'll decide I'm trustworthy before the week is over!

🐰 Then there's George... a rabbit with enough personality for an entire zoo. He adores his food, hands out bunny kisses freely and spends much of his day rearranging his room. His favourite activity appears to be launching stacking cups across the floor and then looking very pleased with himself afterwards.

🤍 And finally, Alice. This sweet senior albino lionhead rabbit is the reason I'm spending extended daytime visits here. Alice is a little wobbly on her feet these days and occasionally needs help getting herself upright when she loses her balance. She's such a gentle little soul and it's a privilege to help keep her safe, comfortable and well cared for while her family are away.

One of the things I love most about this job is that every animal is completely different. Whether they're curled up on your lap, hiding behind a plant, throwing toys across the room or enjoying their golden years, every pet deserves care that's tailored to their individual needs.

I can't wait to share more updates from this lovely little family over the coming days. ❤️

That's a wrap for my time with Sox and Oreo... for now! ❤️

These two gorgeous brothers have been an absolute pleasure to care for over the past week. Gentle, sweet Sox has been my little shadow, always ready for cuddles, fuss and a cosy nap, while Oreo has stolen plenty of hearts with his squeaky greetings, affectionate kisses and cheeky personality.

They've spent their days sunbathing, chasing flies, watching birds, enjoying their favourite treats and, of course, keeping me entertained with their brotherly antics. We even survived the infamous "Pigeongate" incident! 🐦😹

One of the things I love most about pet sitting is getting to know each animal's unique personality, and these boys couldn't be more different despite being brothers. Together, they make the perfect pair.

I'll miss seeing Oreo sprint through the cat flap when he knows I'm there and Sox running over for his daily fusses.

Another lovely visit with Oreo and Sox this evening. ❤️

Oreo has really become quite affectionate with me during my time with them. As soon as he knows I'm here, he'll come darting through the cat flap and greet me with his little squeaks. He then makes it very clear that I need to get down on the floor immediately for cuddles, chin scratches and plenty of kisses! He's such a sweet boy. He can be a little boisterous at times, but only in that endearing way that makes him even more lovable.

Sox is still the gentle, sleepy soul we all know and love. He's such a calm presence and always happy to enjoy some fuss and company in between his naps.

It's my penultimate day tomorrow, and I have to admit I'll miss both brothers dearly when my visits come to an end. They've been an absolute pleasure to look after. 🥰

Keeping cool with Oreo & Sox this week ☀️🐾

With the warmer weather sticking around, both boys have been enjoying the cooler spots in the house and garden — and Oreo, of course, is still making sure he samples everyone else’s dinner after finishing his own first 😂

A little reminder for fellow cat parents during the heat:
🐱 Keep fresh water topped up (some cats even enjoy a few ice cubes added)
🐱 Cooling mats can be brilliant for shaded nap spots
🐱 Freeze cat yoghurts or treats for a little cooling snack
🐱 Keep curtains closed during the hottest parts of the day
🐱 Make sure there are shaded areas indoors and outside if safe to do so

Cats are experts at finding the coolest place possible… usually somewhere you were just about to sit 😅

May has been such a special month for Becky Wells Pet Sitting 💛

From a playful and affectionate dog to sleepy senior cats, mischievous kittens and some very spoiled felines… I’ve honestly loved every minute.

This month’s gorgeous gang included:
🐾 Popcorn & Zorro
🐾 Princess Leia
🐾 Ernie the dachshund mix
🐾 Casper, Cheeto, Socks & Misty (plus her three tiny babies!)
🐾 Ernie the cat
🐾 Sox & Oreo

Every pet has their own little personality and routine, and it’s such a privilege being trusted to care for them in their own homes while their humans are away.
There have been garden zoomies, fly hunting, Dreamies, stick treats, Netflix cuddles, head boops, bleps, kitten chaos and lots and lots of affection along the way 🐶🐱

To all of my lovely clients — thank you for trusting me with your babies. And to all of my furry little friends… thank you for making this “job” feel far too enjoyable to be called work.
