Trust the process…⏰

Lovely cocker spaniel Oscar came in for a good trim up today. His owners requested him to be put into the start of a traditional cocker spaniel cut. It will take a few grooms for the hair to start growing in the right places but by trusting the process at the start it will all come together in the end. But doesn’t he look so smart already🤩❤️

☀️🐶 HOT WEATHER DOG CARE TIPS 🐶☀️

As the temperatures rise, it’s important to help keep your pups safe, cool, and comfortable! Here are our top tips for beating the heat this summer:

💧 Always provide fresh, cool water
🌳 Walk dogs early morning or later evening to avoid hot pavements
🐾 Test the pavement with your hand — if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for paws
🍉 Offer dog-safe frozen treats for a refreshing snack
❄️ Keep grooming appointments regular to help remove excess coat and improve airflow
🏡 Make sure your dog has access to shade and cool indoor spaces
🚗 Never leave dogs in parked cars — even for a few minutes

Signs of overheating include:
⚠️ Excessive panting
⚠️ Drooling
⚠️ Lethargy
⚠️ Vomiting or wobbling

If you notice these signs, move your dog somewhere cool and contact your vet immediately.
