Meet Bailey, the Coton de Tulear 🐶

When Bailey began limping and showing signs of pain, his family knew something wasn't right. 🚨STRAY ALERT🚨

We have had a stray kitten brought into the Pontefract Practice. It is a white and black female kitten, and there is no microchip or collar. She was found in the ferrybridge area.

🚨 STRAY DOGS 🚨

We have had two stray dogs brought into us at the Pontefract branch. There is one male and one female dog and they were found in the Pontefract area.

Unfortunately we have had a deceased stray cat brought in to the practice.

She is a tabby female, and has no collar or chip. She was found in the Ladybalk area last night.

🐾 Braveheart Award for Spencer 🐾

Little spencer came in yesterday for some tests, and even though he had to spend the whole day with us, he took it all in his stride!
He even gave us a kiss when we were doing his blood tests 🩵

We always make sure pets feel at home when they're in with us, and Spencer definitely got plenty of attention during his stay; who could resist that adorable smiling face! 🐶

Well done for being so brave, Spencer! 🩵

We are getting in the Christmas spirit here at Pontefract 🎁🎅🎄

Each year we do a collection for rescue centres to gift them at Christmas time. This year, we are asking for donations for Dogs Trust Leeds and OLDHAM CATS RESCUE (OFFICIAL) FACEBOOK GROUP! 🐶🐱

If you have any donations of food, treats, toys, beds or blankets then please bring them in to reception at the Medivet Pontefract branch and we will organise all of the donations to go to the rescues after Christmas.

Thank you for all of your support for these rescue centres; they do such a great job all year round 🐕🐈🐾
