Unfortunately, due to the expected high temperatures this weekend, we’ve made the decision to cancel Sunday’s Pack Walk. ☀️🐾

As much as we love seeing all the dogs together, pack walks in hot weather can become very high risk. Dogs will often continue running and trying to keep up with the pack, even when they are starting to struggle or show signs of heatstroke. Sadly, by the time symptoms are obvious, they can already be dangerously overheated.

Your dogs’ safety will always come first. ❤️

Please keep your pups cool, avoid walking during the hottest parts of the day, and make sure they have plenty of water and shade.

We’ll be back soon for another muddy adventure when the temperatures are safer! 🐶

Join us this Sunday 24th May at 11am at Pontefract Racecourse for another Muddy Paws pack walk! 🐶💙

We are aware it’s Bank Holiday weekend and warm weather is forecast ☀️ so please keep an eye on this post for any updates. As things stand, the walk is still going ahead as planned 😊
