🐾 Dog Park Update 🐾

Hi everyone! After being open for almost two months, we have been continuously monitoring noise levels at the park, and we’re pleased to say that everything has been going great.

With this in mind, we are happy to announce that we will now increase the limit to 4 dogs per session.

We do have parking available for up to 4 vehicles, if you were looking to meet up with friends, let the dogs have a run around, and enjoy a catch-up while they play. 🐾

Thank you to all our customers for using the park responsibly and helping make this possible. We look forward to welcoming you and your dogs for many more enjoyable visits! 🐕🐕🐕🐕

Over the last few months, we’ve sadly seen more and more reports of dogs in our local area being attacked.

For many dogs, experiences like this can have a huge impact on their confidence and can make walks and new environments feel scary and overwhelming. It’s heartbreaking to see.

If your dog has been attacked and is struggling with confidence, we’d like to offer 2 free sessions at Rora Dog Park to give them a safe, secure space to explore and rebuild their confidence.

If this sounds like something that could help your dog, please send us a private message and we’ll do our best to support you.

Survey Feedback Update 🐾

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who took the time to complete our recent survey. We were genuinely blown away by the response and are incredibly grateful for all of your feedback and suggestions.

We’ve spent some time reviewing all of the comments and we’re delighted to say that the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you all for your support.

A few updates following your suggestions:

We’re currently in the process of sourcing some additional agility features following several requests. This is something that has always been on the cards for us, so keep an eye out for updates, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Whilst we understand why some dogs would enjoy a sand pit, we’ve decided not to move forward with this at the moment but we will keep it in mind for the future.

A few people mentioned the small gap between the gate and the grass when entering and exiting the field. We agree this could be improved, and we’ll be looking to make some alterations over the coming weeks.

We’ll also be adding umbrellas to the shelter for rainy days.

We’ve had a few requests for tea and coffee facilities. Unfortunately, we don’t currently have the resources to provide this on-site, but watch this space as we may have an alternative solution in the future. 😉

There were also suggestions for a dedicated area to drive in and let dogs out off lead before entering the field. We plan to keep the current setup as it is for now.

Once again, thank you for all of your support, feedback and ideas. We love hearing your suggestions and will continue looking for ways to improve Rora Dog Park for both owners and their dogs. 🐾

The weather hasn’t exactly been great for getting the pups outside this week, so we thought we’d give everyone something else to do instead… 😂🌧️

Good morning! 🐾🥰 just to let you know that the shelter is back! Not much has changed - mostly the colour 😂.

We have also added a sink. There is a foot pump that supplies water to the sink for washing your hands after any of those unpleasant moments.

Please note: this is not drinking water and should only be used for hand washing.

Just a little heads up to let everyone know that the field shelter will be off site for a few days for some essential work. Hopefully it won’t be away for too long, and we’ll update you all once it’s back in place!

Water will still be available on site as normal.

We absolutely love seeing your photos, so please keep sending them in!🥰

Just a little reminder for all new visitors, we have:
- Poo bags available on site
- A bin for used bags
- A sand bin available in case there’s any difficulty removing all of the mess

We’d also just like to say a huge thank you to everyone for your continued support and for booking with Rora Dog Park. We appreciate every booking 🤍

All we ask is that everyone please cleans up after their dog so the park can continue to be enjoyed by all visitors 🐾
