⭐️. I would not normally post publicly about a situation like this, but I feel I need to share my experience.
Last year, we purchased a beautiful F7 Savannah male, Hawassa Angus, with the understanding that he was fertile and suitable for our breeding programme. Communication was excellent throughout the purchasing process, and we were excited to welcome him and introduce him to our proven queens.
Unfortunately, after giving Angus time to settle and carefully introducing him to several proven females, we were unable to achieve any successful pregnancies. After a significant period of attempts and observation, we have come to the conclusion that he is likely infertile.
This has been an extremely disappointing and costly experience, both financially and emotionally. We always strive to be transparent and honest in our own breeding programme, and we value the same openness when working with others in the community.
Before making this post, I attempted to resolve the matter privately. I reached out directly but did not receive a response. I also commented on their page seeking communication, but the comments were removed and I was subsequently unfriended.
I also have screenshots of all conversations relating to this purchase and communication history.
This post is not intended to accuse or create conflict, but simply to share our experience so others can make informed decisions when making significant breeding purchases. Due diligence, clear communication, and working with established breeders are always important.
We are fortunate to have many excellent breeders here in the UK who work to high standards and support the wider community.
Please make careful and informed decisions when choosing who you work with.
