Hot weather Protocol!
Hi with the predicted continuation of hot weather this weekend/week we just wanted to put a friendly reminder for everyones well being!
Please put on suncream & send extra for your child on the Pony days.
Some of our horses have to wear it too!
Send plenty of water based drinks, safe bottles will be allowed at the side of the school l/fields for drink breaks for riders & leaders during lessons. Extra water will of course also be available for the horses.
Wear light clothing, but no sandals, belly tops ,dresses or shorts for riding in please.( Although shorts can be packed for pony days for some of our afternoon lectures & practical horse-care lessons where possible)
Please note that lessons will be at a slower pace & there will be walk breaks for the horses welfare.
After lessons the horses will have lavender washes.
All riders will be encouraged to take their hats off whenever possible & to wash their faces & run hands & wrists under water to cool their blood down after lessons.

She is such an amazing, wonderful horse inside & out. She gives so many rider’s confidence & then pushes those on that are more experienced.
She is very much loved & a firm favourite.

"Made for me"was my first and very special pony Ranger. He was in my life from when I was 3yrs old until I was 28yrs old. Due to myself meeting him is why New Range was then born in 1983. We now continue on in his name and his honour,to help and save as many horses as we can.xx

Made for me!

After making the little girl, God said:

“You’ll need something to lean on. Something with substance that will teach you the value of hard work, perseverance, and to never give up. A thing that won’t cast judgment when you mess up in life. Because you will often, it’s just part of growing up and becoming a decent human."

"You’ll need something whose impressive physical presence must be respected at all times. A being who could break your bones in a whisper but will never break your heart. A creature who will be there for you when you cry for hours after someone you love lets you down. An unspeaking breathing being that will teach you to check all the noise in your head and completely listen to what he is saying."

“Sometimes in life you need to let go and just hang on. I call this trust. The terrifying ability to follow something blindly out of the conviction of only your heart. It will keep you centered and restore your faith when life happens. When you realize that you are forgettable to the world you won’t be to this creature."

Let’s get some of your children on our waiting list riding! Please contact us if you are around & would like a trial lesson while there are extra lessons in Half term!

Children’s extra Half Term Riding lessons:
Own a Pony/Horse for a Day!
Tuesday & Thursday:
🦄 Pony mornings:
9.30a.m - 1.00p.m £25.00.
Grooming, tacking up, 1 hours riding tuition, untack, brush off or massage pony and a stable management lesson.
Or Tuesday & Thursday
🦄 Pony Days:
9.30a.m - 4.00p.m £30.00.
The Pony days consist of all the Pony morning activities as described above. Moving on to the afternoons, where we teach different aspects of pony care each time. With talks ,demos & practical lessons on e.g plaiting, first aid, bandaging etc. They also have the general care of their pony for the day & his tack. Sometimes the riders have another fun ba****ck ride or a quiz,depending on the order of the day!
🐴 Wednesday 2 hour group lesson:
10.00a.m - 12.00p.m £23.00.
Grooming, tacking up, 1 hours riding tuition, untack and brush off or massage pony.
We have our normal weekend riding lessons.

🚗 For Pony days we are offering an early arrival/later collection for working parents, by arrangement with me! I just ask for a small donation or some carrots & apples for our rescue residents 🚙

These lessons above are suitable for all abilities of school age children.
🐎Private & shared private lessons are also available for children, including younger ones & special needs riders.
🐎We also cater for adults either private or semi private lessons.
It’s just trying to fit you all in is our challenge at the moment!

Due to Mum/Paula still undergoing treatment for a major heart attack please use below contact details.

New riders to us ,we have been inundated with messages and if I haven’t done so already I will respond to you as soon as I can. Hopefully we can arrange for some of you on our waiting list to have a lesson while some of our regular riders are away. At least you can try out a lesson with us to see if you /your child enjoys it!

Sunny says he’s being a big boy now in his own stable next to his Mummy Tango! They have an adjoining window in the partition so they can still interact & have a kiss & a cuddle!

Just another reminder for you.
We are on a much needed break & family time.
We are starting back:
🐴Thursday January 2nd🦄This will be for a Pony day /morning (spaces available)as well as our usual Saturday one! Suits school age children of all abilities. 🚗Working parents can drop off early, collect later by arrangement.🚙We just ask for a donation for our rescue ponies or apples & carrots!🥕🍎🍏🥕
Other times are available for shared privates & other lessons!
