My pet is drinking loads of water - we see this time and time again. Unfortunately most people don't pay too much attention to this and yet it is a key indicator to your pet's health. an healthy animal should drink 50-100ml of water per kg of body weight per day. Drinking more than this indicates an underlying disease. A big thirst with lots of urine is known as in vet terms as polyuria-polydipsia or PUPD for short. Basically, just take to the vets as they will check sugar content in urine and bacteria causing any urinary tract infection. Hope this helps and please comment.
