Final intro to the team is Becky.
Becky has managed the yard at Mansty for 4 years this October.
She has been around horses since learning to ride at age 10. She then went on to help out at a riding school at 16 working in exchange for lessons giving her 20+ years in the industry.
She completed her HND in Equine at Rodbaston whilst still working her Saturday job and then went on to work at Abbots Bromley through the YTS to gain hands on experience.
Becky holds her BHS complete 1 and 2, Stage 3 grooms certificate, PTT certificate and recently just achieved her Stage 4 Business Management. She's now working towards her Stage 5 Business Management with a view to completing the Stage 4 care towards the end of the year.
Becky has a keen interest in the nutrition side and likes keeping her equine knowledge up to date through research and reading.
She keeps her horse Honey on livery at Mansty with aims to event unaffiliated at low level. She also does alot of 121 work with Mansty's owners horse Libor lad re-training him as a riding horse from racehorse.
Becky also lives on site with her dog Diego who likes to help out around the yard 😆

Today's introduction is to one of our part time staff members Sarah.
Sarah joined the team end of January this year and works a Sunday and Tuesday.
She has a wealth of experience and knowledge especially with ex racers - quite handy when these types of horses are getting popular as riding horses.
Sarah has her own business alongside working at Mansty which is Chase Equine Therapy. This combines the following qualifications and services on offer to the local equine community:
* Level 1 Racehorse Care foundation NRC
* Level 2 Racing Diploma NRC
* Qualifed im Salt Therapy
* Equine PEMF
* Equine non evasive Acupuncture fascia pressure release
* Under ongoing qualification for cranial fascia release and manipulation

Sarah has over 25yrs working within the equine industry including freelanceing for over 21 years providing livery services, working withing the horse racing sector, on Show jumping yards and also Studs which brings an abundance of experience to the team.

Todays introduction goes to Ayla Purchase Connors.
Ayla first started at Mansty around 18 months ago to complete her work experience hours whilst at Rodbaston College.
She was the first work experience candidate we've had that really stood out, always on time, always reliable, quick with doing tasks set,nothing was too much trouble and genuinely joining in as part of the team. As a result when her work experience was completed she was asked to stay on as a bank staff member and has been with us since.
Ayla has been around horses from a very young age having her first pony at 6 years old. She now owns her own Connie x called Toby who she likes to some dressage with. Ayla also likes to do some showing and can turn out to a high standard as shown with her sisters horse Ettie.

Today's introduction is one of our newer team members Brooke Luke
Brooke joined Mansty at the start of February this year as a bank team member.
Our bank team are flexible staff who cover any extra shifts, holidays or sickness that we may have.
Brooke now works a Thursday every week. She is a very bright and bubbly team member with a keen interest in animal physiotherapy which is something she would like to pursue once finishing at Rodbaston College where she is currently studying a level 3 in animal care.
Brooke has lots of knowledge about different animals and was able to put some of this into practice on horseback safari in Africa last year following a completion of a veterinary assistants course.

Next up on Team Intros is Molly Brown
Molly has worked as part of the Mansty team for around 3 years now so knows the yard and how it runs extremely well. She originally joined as a Sunday team member but now works Mondays and Fridays in addition. She is a chatty member of the team who keeps her horse Zak on livery with us.
She's owned Zak since he was 4 years old and is schooling him to do some dressage. They also love long hacks and fun rides together..

Team Intros 2026
First up is Lexie Wheaton
Lexie is one of our part time staff members working 3 days a week.
She holds her level 3 in Equine completed at Rodbaston College last year.
Lexie originally joined us as part of the bank team but then stepped into a Saturday role when it came available and now works an additional Monday and Wednesday with us.
She knows the horses and yard well and is always a really calm and polite team member.
Lexie also owns her own horse Minstrel who she is schooling and bringing on.
