August has certainly been a busy month for stainless steel. 👌

We’ve had a mix of sizes and quantities going through the saws, with each bar precision sawn to give clean, uniform edges and careful handling throughout to help prevent contamination.

Keeping the material in good condition when we prepare it means it reaches our customers ready for use, with the surface condition maintained for the manufacturing process ahead.

It’s this approach to handling and preparing the material that makes us proud to be part of the British Stainless Steel Association.

We’re very pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Smith as Commercial Director and Jack Wright as Director at Chase Alloys. 👏

Both have contributed a lot to the company over the years, developing a strong understanding of the business, our customers and the wider metals industry.

Scott joined Chase Alloys in 2015 and has progressed from a role in Sales and Purchasing to Commercial Manager, and now Commercial Director. He brings nearly 20 years of industry experience from both mill and stockholder environments, which will be central to his new role.

Jack joined us in 2021 with more than 10 years of sales and purchasing experience. During his time with the business, he has helped develop day to day and contract customer accounts, while contributing across the commercial, financial and logistical sides of the company.

Scott and Jack now join Managing Director Paul Wright, who has shared a few words below, and Finance Director Viki Jones, on our Board of Directors.

A huge congratulations to them both on their well-deserved new roles!

6 inch diameter 304L cut bars. ⭐

Cut to customer requirements, crated and prepared for delivery using our own fleet, this batch is ready to move out the door.

With over 500 tonnes of material held in stock, backed by in-house sawing, profiling, testing and processing capabilities, we can manage more of the supply process under one roof and maintain greater control over material, lead times and quality.

When material arrives on time, production keeps moving. Delays, on the other hand, can quickly impact schedules and hold up entire projects.

That's why we keep more than 500 tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in stock. Combined with our in-house processing facilities, we can prepare material to your exact requirements and dispatch it when you need it.

If you've got an order to discuss, give the team a call or send us an email.
