Patient of the Week🐈

🐾 A big mention for the gorgeous Humphrey, who completed his 25-week chemotherapy journey this week! 🐾

Over the past few months Humphrey has been an absolute superstar. He has been so patient and gentle each visit, putting up with regular blood tests and his IV treatments.

Here he is enjoying a well-deserved lunch alongside his toy ferret after receiving his final chemotherapy treatment. We're so proud of this handsome chap ⭐

Patient of the Week 🐶

Mabel came in for a dental procedure this week and enjoyed plenty of TLC from our nursing team before her anaesthetic ❤️

During the procedure the vet performed a full de-scale and clean before taking out a few troublesome teeth at the back of her mouth. It is only after de-scaling that we can assess the mouth fully and determine which teeth need to be extracted.

Mabel recovered beautifully from her anaesthetic all tucked up in one of our kennels under the watchful eye of one of our nurses. She went home with a healthier mouth and a lovely set of pearly whites! 🦷✨

We have just installed some cat friendly platforms, where your feline friends can wait peacefully to see the vet.

Cats love being high up where they can see what’s going on from a distance. By keeping them off the floor and away from dogs, it helps keep them calm and stress free for their appointment. 🐈🐈‍⬛

We also have an online booking system for clients to book vaccinations and other appointments you may need.

We are open every weekday Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm and Saturdays 8am - 2pm.

A possible stray cat has been brought in to Meridian Vets today after visiting Cavendish House in Peacehaven a few times this week. He’s young and hasn’t been neutered and is very hungry.

Unfortunately he doesn’t have a microchip so there’s no way of us finding out if he has an owner.
