Stanley 🐾
Was such a brave boy today for his dental and lump removals!
He was loving all the attention as you can see and is definitely a bit of a ladies man! 💙
Just a reminder our dental promotion is still running until June to get £100 off too! 🦷

The cat from this morning has gone home🐾 but we have had another one sadly been brought in deceased.
Female tortie with four white paws and no tail (not a new injury- seems to have possibly had this amputated previously)
Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any information.

Ozzie & Teddy 🐾

These two lovely boys came in to be castrated earlier in the week.
They came back in to see the nurse today for their first post op check and are both doing very well!
They have been wearing their medical shirts to prevent licking and their wounds are looking great so far!

Good job boys 🐾💙

Here they are enjoying some TLC post surgery 💙

📢 Important Update: EU Pet Travel Rules Have Changed 🐾 April 2026 ⚠️

We’re advising all clients to take note of a recent rule change that may affect your travel plans with pets.

🚨 What’s new?
❗ EU Pet Passports are no longer valid for GB residents, even if issued in the EU, these can no longer be used if you live in Great Britain. Which means Animal Health Certificates (AHCs) are now required for every trip. You must obtain a new AHC from an Official Veterinarian each time you travel to the EU.

✈️ Key requirements (still apply):
🔹 Microchip (before or at time of rabies vaccination)
🔹 Up-to-date rabies vaccination (with 21-day wait after first vaccine)
🔹 AHC issued within 10 days of travel

🐕 Tapeworm treatment for dogs entering certain countries (24–120 hours before arrival)

📄 AHC validity:
✔ Entry into the EU
✔ Onward travel within the EU
✔ Return to the UK (within the valid period)

⚠️ Please plan ahead – AHC appointments can be limited, especially during busy travel periods.

If you're planning a trip, contact us early so we can make sure everything is in place for a smooth journey 🐶🐱

Cleo 🩷

Cleo came in for her kennel cough vaccination- here she is patiently waiting for her appointment 🥹

🐶 Key benefits to the vaccine

1. Reduces risk of catching kennel cough
It helps protect against Kennel cough, which spreads easily between dogs—especially in places like kennels, day care, groomers, or parks. 🐾

2. Less severe illness if they do catch it
Even if a vaccinated dog gets kennel cough, symptoms are usually milder and shorter-lasting (less harsh coughing, quicker recovery). 🐾

3. Helps protect other dogs
By reducing how easily your dog gets infected, it also lowers the chance they’ll pass it on. 🐾

4. Often required for services
Many boarding kennels, doggy day cares, and some groomers require proof of vaccination before accepting dogs. 🐾
