🐾 👑 Today I had Buddy in for a reset groom. He is such a handsome boy, especially with his one gorgeous odd eye.
Buddy was a very nervous boy when he first arrived, so we took everything slowly and at his pace. We needed to do a shave-down before his bath to remove all his knots and mats. He was quite the fidget bum throughout, but we managed to get as much off as he was comfortable with.
Then it was bath time, where once again Buddy showed us what a professional fidget bum he is! He was rather nervous and didn't like sudden noises or movements, so we took our time and kept everything calm and gentle.
Then came drying time, where he needed plenty of reassurance. Buddy likes to stay close to me, so lots of cuddles and encouragement were needed while I got him clean and dry.
Once he was all dry, it was back to the table to finish his groom. And let's just say Buddy has some serious moves! Sitting, standing, dancing and even a little tap dancing.
He especially wasn't keen on having his front legs and paws clipped, so we took things very slowly, giving him breaks when he needed them. Eventually, we got there.
Then it was time to sort out that beautiful face and make him look even more handsome and dapper. Again, we took our time and gave him a couple of little breaks along the way.
Buddy did so well, especially considering how nervous he was. I'm so proud of him.
A very big well done, Buddy! You were a superstar, little man. See you again in a few weeks!🐾👑

🐾 👑 The last through the doors today were this handsome duo, so say hello to Reggie the Frenchie and Parker the Pug, who came in today for their pamper and de-shed!
These two had the full Royal Treatment! They enjoyed a mud mask, de-shedding shampoo and de-shedding spray before getting thoroughly pampered.
They were such a funny pair of boys and did so well in the bath. When it came to drying time, though, I had to do them one at a time, as Parker was winding Reggie up and wouldn’t leave him alone to get pampered!
Once they were all fluffy and dry, it was time for the de-shedding brush and nail trims. Again, I did them one at a time, starting with Parker. He was a little bit of a fidget, but goodness me, a lot of fur came off him! I was surprised by just how much, even after all that de-shedding.
Then it was Reggie’s turn. He was such a very good boy and, of course, all he really wanted to do was give me kisses!
Once their pampering was finished, they had a little play together while waiting to go home. They certainly kept me entertained today!
Well done, boys! You were both superstars! 👑🐾

🐾 👑 The next little lady through the doors today was Janice, the very sweet Spaniel cross. She is such a lovely rescue girl, and she was understandably very nervous when she first arrived. She was a little unsure in the bath too, but soon started to relax and absolutely loved receiving plenty of cuddles and kisses.
When it came to drying, it was definitely a case of slow and steady, but she coped really well. Then it was Table Time, and what a superstar she was! She let me clip her all over, which is especially important at the moment as so many dogs are really struggling with the heat.
With lots of reassurance, gentle talking, cuddles, kisses and, of course, a few treats, we took everything slowly and steadily, and Janice did amazingly well.
Well done, Janice! You did absolutely brilliantly, sweetheart. You are welcome back anytime! 👑🐾

🐾 👑 Today I had the pleasure of pampering big Dave the Saint Bernard again! He really is such a big, gentle giant and an absolute baby at heart. He came straight through the door and hopped straight into the bath with very little encouragement what a superstar! I do love my big dogs!
After his lovely bath, it was time for drying. Dave isn't the biggest fan of being dried in the bath, so we did as much as he would let me there before moving onto the table to finish the job.
After a thorough groom, trim and tidy up, this handsome boy was all suited and booted and ready to head home.
A huge well done, Dave! You were such a good boy. See you again soon, big fella! 🐾👑
