🎉 Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Paws of Preston Dog Grooming Salon! 🐾💙

One year ago today, I opened the doors to my little salon with a dream, a lot of hope, and a huge passion for making dogs look and feel their very best.

What a year it has been! I’ve welcomed so many wonderful pups, met incredible owners, and watched my little business grow in ways I could only have imagined. Every wagging tail, happy face, recommendation, and kind word has helped make this journey so special.

I feel truly humbled by the support I’ve received over the past year. Thank you to every single customer who has trusted me with your beloved dogs—you’ve helped turn my dream into reality.

Here’s to another year of growth, happy dogs, and making even more furry friends. Thank you for being part of my journey. ❤️🐶

🌾 Grass Seed Season is Here! 🐾

I plucked all of these out of one little spaniels feet this week!!!

Those tiny grass seeds might not look like much, but they can cause big problems for your dog’s paws! 😔

Grass seeds can work their way between the toes and into the skin, leading to:
🐶 Pain and limping
🔴 Swelling and redness
💛 Infections
⚠️ In some cases, they can even travel deeper into the body and require veterinary treatment.

✨ The good news? Prevention is key!

✔️ Check your dog’s paws after every walk, especially if they’ve been in long grass.
✔️ Look between the toes and around the pads for any grass seeds.
✔️ Keep the fur around the paw pads trimmed so it’s harder for seeds to get trapped.
