Treating all pets and horses with the same dignity and respect
as if they were part of our own families Located on the outskirts of the seaside town of Paignton, Valley Pet and Equine Crematorium was established in 2004 by pet owners, for pet owners. At Valley, we understand that the range of emotions you are likely to be feeling at this difficult time are testimony to the special bond between you

and your pet and how losing a pet is like losing a close friend. Today, the strong principles of Valley's founders still underpins our philosophy of:
◾Offering a personal, caring and supportive service
◾Treating all pets with the same dignity and respect in death that they deserved in life
◾Cremating only pet animals
◾Guaranteeing that individual cremations are always individual
◾Encouraging pet owners to visit, meet with us and view our crematorium
◾Being the pet crematorium of choice for pet owners in Devon

Visitors are welcome and we are more than happy for owners to bring their pets to us (by prior arrangement).

🐾 **International Cat Day** 🐾

Today, we celebrate the cats who have left paw prints on our hearts and those who continue to fill our days with love, comfort, and companionship. ❤️

Whether they're greeting us at the door, curling up beside us, or keeping a watchful eye from their favourite spot, our feline friends become cherished members of our families.

On this International Cat Day, we'd love to remember and honour all the wonderful cats who have touched our lives. Feel free to share a photo or a special memory of your beloved feline friend in the comments. 🐱✨

Trust, respect, integrity and care are at the heart of everything we do.

Recent media coverage has understandably raised questions about standards within the pet aftercare sector. While we cannot comment on other business’s and the matters that are currently under investigation by the relevant authorities, we want to reassure our families, veterinary partners and community that the care of every pet entrusted to The Pet Crematoria Family (Anima Care UK) remains our absolute priority.

From collection through to cremation and the return of ashes, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, transparency and respect. Every pet is treated as an individual and every family receives the compassion and support they deserve during what is often one of life's most difficult moments.

Matthew Tork, Chief Operating Officer, said:
"The trust families place in us is a privilege we never take for granted. Every pet that comes into our care is treated with the same dignity and compassion we would expect for our own pets. We remain committed to providing a transparent, ethical and professional service that honours the bond between people and their beloved companions."

We are incredibly grateful to the veterinary practices and pet owners who trust us to care for their cherished family members and we remain dedicated to setting the standard for compassionate pet aftercare.

If you would like to learn more about our processes or services, our teams are always happy to answer any questions.
