We’ve had yet another newbie recently depart with their human servant delighted (& shocked) that their cat ate their food whilst on holiday with us, as they refuse to eat at other catteries 😿 & that they didn’t spend their time hiding away 😿
Sadly this is something we hear so often & it’s horrible to think of these babies being so unhappy that they can’t eat & relax 💔
Can they see other cats in the neighbouring rooms? No.
Do they see lots of different members of staff & volunteers? No.
Can they hear dogs barking? No.
Are humans other than us allowed up and down our corridors adding to the unknown people that are seen & heard? No.
Are they stuck in an inside room unable to feel the fresh air on their face? No.
Are they left in a room with no visual or physical stimulation to keep them entertained? No.
These are just some of the situations that cats can find themselves in that have a huge impact on their wellbeing & happiness.
Thankfully, we put lots of time and effort into not only our guests individually, but also their surroundings & we see first hand how it makes all the difference ❤️
