Happy Wednesday! 😸
We are busy preparing for our imminent house build at Fairparks! With that, we have made a slight change to our entrance & now have some fancy new steps with a much needed hand rail - Thanks Dad! 😻
There will be some further changes ahead to the lay of the land as we welcome our builders Scott Legg Construction Ltd in the upcoming weeks.
Please be assured, it’s completely business as usual in our cattery. Scott & his team are very friendly, courteous & understand that noise must be kept to a minimum- no matter how good the song on the radio is 😹
Myself & Tom can’t wait to live on site too & are very excited for the future ❣️ 🐾

So many different breeds, temperaments, colours, personalities & needs which is why we feel it’s SO important we spend time to get to know ALL of our furry guests individually 😻
We are told very often by owners that their cat hasn’t coped well in another cattery previously - withdrawn, not eating, shaking, hiding, scared & taking a long time to settle back at home 😿
We adjust our approach in every single room we enter as every cats needs are completely different. We ask owners about their cats personalities, likes & needs but even without that information, we would still put the time in to read the cat ourselves and adjust our approach accordingly.

It appears Grumpy is trying to be more human like since moving to Fairparks, now using her hands to eat 😹
Buttons has been watching our Poodle chase the ball in the back garden so has learnt how to play & now thinks she’s a dog 😹
Grumpy is still very much feral but likes being around humans, not close enough to touch though!
Buttons is the complete opposite and rolls around for fuss 24/7, when not chasing the balls that is 😸
Very content barn cats living their best Fairparks life 😻🐾

📸 It’s Sunday! 📸
Another busy morning here at Fairparks with many checking in & out. Our guests have been given fresh boxes 📦 & goose feathers 🪶 today and there may be a few treats hidden around rooms of those that are allowed 😻
As always, please do let us know as soon as possible if you wish to cancel or amend any bookings with us. A one day change for one can allow another whole booking for another. Our booking system looks like a giant jigsaw so any slight change can open up another bigger stretch of dates if we are able to link the days together 😸

Who remembers our missing cat post in August of LAST year? Well, we have just received the best news that missing boy Eric has now been found! 😻
We are SO pleased this beautiful boy is now finally home 💙 Thank goodness for microchips!

Yesterday saw our rather large litter delivery arrive which means one thing for our guests, cardboard boxes! 📦 Such excitement when they are dished out with treats sprinkled in for them all to find, then they’re left to ‘decorate’ their new den 😻
