PLEASE BEWARE!!!
These dogs have attacked my dog this morning the fields in high crompton
She regularly walks them here and in the fields near Tandle Hills and they have attacked other people before!
Luckily my daughter didn’t go out walking this morning as I dread to think how it would have turned out with 3 German shepherds on the attack!
My dog was on his lead! He is in the vets but luckily is a big dog so hasn’t been killed, although the repercussions we do not know yet!
Please be careful walking your dogs, especially if you are taking your children with you!
We shouldn’t be scared of this but unfortunately irresponsible dog owners are making it this way!

Got a reactive dog? Barking, lunging, or freaking out on walks? Teaching them to focus on you is a game-changer.

Let them observe their trigger from a distance and when they look at you, mark and reward. This builds a habit of checking in with you instead of reacting to triggers. Over time, your dog learns: you = safety + rewards.

Start in low-distraction areas, use your dogs favourite treat or toy and stay consistent. The goal? Calm, connected walks.

It’s not about stopping reactions overnight — it’s about building better habits.
