Good Morning Everyone!
Welcome to the last introduction of the week.
I hope you enjoyed the posts and something different other than dog training.
With that I really appreciate if you'd follow the page and I have availability so feel free to drop me a message. But let's get in with the last introduction.

Meet Mikki.
Mikki is a gorgeous orange winged amazon. Estimated to be around 1+ Year. She is from a pet shop (I know what your thinking). Don't worry the pet shop she's from are incredible with their animals. And Mikki is very tame. She loves a tickle and has flown onto me before. She's just a baby so learning new things have been difficult but she has learnt some new words like "hello" and "what you doing" and she even wold whistles now!

Another Introduction today!

Meet Stitch + Sparky!
They are both budgies.
Stitch is coming up to about 2 years old.
Sparky is younger than a year.

Stitch is a handsome male. With the best blue colouring. He's a stubborn boy who will sit on your finger and allow pets but refuses to most times.

Sparky is a stunning part albino part lacewing female. She's also is stubborn. Likes to sit on our fingers but you have to catch it on a good moment.

They fly like bullets when let out and take all day to go back in haha!

They also argue like a married couple and love playing with toys.

We got them both from different breeders. Stitch did have a brother called yoda that we got the same time as stich but unfortunately passed away. So we got him a girlfriend so he wasn't so lonely and she has brought him back out of his shell which has been a blessing to see.

Hey Everyone! Welcome again to the daily introductions. Where I chose this week to show you the feathered part of my pack.

Today let me introduce you to Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo ans Juliet are both cockatiels. They are roughly 1 year and a half. Possibly 2 years old.

These 2 where also a rescue as their past owner couldn't take care of them anymore so we took them and it was the best decision that's for sure.

These 2 are the funniest pair ever, they are constantly arguing like a married couple, Romeo like to have his daily rant and whistle sessions. They just have the best personality a bird could have. Loving to interact with everyone, Romeo loves to give kisses.

Good morning! Another day, another introduction. Today I would like you to meet Frankie.

Frankie is a beautiful Senegal parrot. We believe she's around 10+ years old.
She was also a rescue as her previous owners couldn't take care of her anymore.

She's a sweet bird when she wants to be, and really only likes my dad haha. Most other times she's nasty trying to bite everyone. But we love her just as much as the rest.

Hello to my followers!
Not many of you know but as well as owning 2 beautiful dogs I also own 7 parrots and 2 weeks ago I had 3 gorgeous cockatiel eggs hatch. So this week I thought I would introduce you to the feathered part of my pack day by day.

So today let me indroduce you to my stunning green Ringneck called Kermit. Kermit was from a scam breeder who lied about his age and temperament. We think he's about 1 Year old. And regardless of him being skittish and nervous he's come along so well since we got him. He went from not wanting anything to do with me, to now taking food from my hand and flying onto my hand. He is the funniest, with the best personality. Always making honking noises and likes to cause trouble to the other birds.

Reactivity!

It's a problem that happens to most, and I'm sure you may think your dogs to far gon to be 'fixed' but there are simple steps that can help you responsibly manage your dog.

A Muzzle.

Muzzles are Incredible tools especially for reactive dogs. Maybe your dog isn't aggressive to other dogs, maybe they are just frustrated from the leash and that's why they are lunging. A muzzle can help you determine that without the fear of your dog attacking another.

Here is my German Shepard x Rottweiler, who is nervous/protective reactive. Just with muzzle training alone it allows her to still be a dog without the added fear of "what if she attacks". That muzzle will give you better confidence!

Reactive dog owners, this one's for you...

I here countless of times "will training actually fix my reactive dog?" the short answer is yes.

There is multiple types of reactivity from aggression to just simple leash frustration aswell as all the in betweens and the truth is there are many training methods that can be tailored to the specific problem. But the main one I stick by is exposure!

Now I know you have probably heard these things from other trainers and maybe that's proof enough to show it can be done but I value my trust on experience.

If you know me already you would know I struggled with reactivity with my dogs. My husky was awful at it. But after time and hard work he now comes along to help other dogs with me and we attend lots of dog shows.

You can have these same results. You can get that relief and start being free with your dog again.

So please. If you are struggling or you just need some advice or a better understanding dont hesitate to get in touch via WhatsApp!
