Finally a moment to reflect on our Agility Nuts KC show at Walesby Forest last weekend. And what a weekend it was! For once the weather was as kind to us as it could have possibly been, perfect agility weather 😊 Many thanks to all our judges for setting some terrific courses and to all those who offered to work on the rings to support our regular team, who, once again, we could not have run the show without. And of course, thank you to all the competitors for helping to make the show so easy to run. We hope you all had a fab time and look forward to seeing you at future Agility Nuts shows. We can confirm that next year’s show at Walesby will be on April 17-18 and, if you want to make a note of it, we’ll be there on April 1-2 in 2028!!

Important information for campers at Walesby this weekend.

In case you haven’t read the show information, PLEASE take note of the following to avoid being turned away from the venue and to find the rings and camping area in case signage is absent!

Unless you have had express permission from me, DO NOT arrive before midday on the day of arrival (unless arriving on the Saturday).

DO NOT enter the site via the Day Parking entrance – you will be turned around as it a requirement of the venue that you sign in with them!

Please enter the site via the main Walesby Forest entrance, clearly signed as “Walesby Forest” (what3words ///marathons.papers.arise), where you will need to book in at the site office. You may be asked how many there are in your party – please provide this information if requested. Once you have booked in you will be issued with a barrier code to allow you to access the site.

Once past the barrier, go straight on at the Robin Hood roundabout (DO NOT bear left just after the roundabout!) and keep going for about 0.2 miles. Turn right and follow the the road beyond the first group of trees and then turn left along the track to reach the camping area.

I would strongly advise you to print or have access to the Site Layout so that you know the route you need to take and to find your pitch, the number of which will be shown on your show entry.

FYI, there is a shop on-site that sells the usual camping essentials (including gas cylinders) as well as dog yoghurts! Opening times are Friday 9:00-2:30, Saturday & Sunday 10:00-2:00. There is also a bar on-site that will be open from 8 pm on Saturday.

The Agility Nuts Summer Independent Shows at Bilsthorpe Showground, Notts, On May 9-10, June 13-14 and July 4-5, are now available to enter at Agility Plaza. We offer:

Fully fenced and separated rings
Excellent running surface
Up to 4 runs for all dogs each day, including anysize/veterans
Option to train in the ring
Camping
Galican Equipment (Indigo)
..and on May 9th, the chance to compete in a UK Hoopers show running alongside us (see schedule for details).
