What an horrific day!!
New dog came for day care trial.
All forms completed, off lead walking permission signed. Due diligence completed with the dog whilst we were out walking, recall great and he was running and playing with the other dogs, due diligence completed (on lead then long lead). BUT THEN for whatever reason he bolted. I couldn’t catch him nor see at times, recall was completely gone.

Owners contacted, police assisted in trying to capture him, drone to home contacted, thank the lord he was found by safe and well by the owners.
This has shaken me to the core, so much so that I’m now investing in trackers for all new dogs.

Just perfect. Who cares if it’s raining.

Another lovely walk today. We also had Huxley come for a visit. Bless his fury paws, he was so nervous when he came, when he went he’d got the big dogs playing with him and even went on a short walk with the pack. He left with so much confidence.
I cannot stress enough, socialising your dog is key to a making sure you have a well balanced dog who understands the rules in the dog world.
