Welcome to my new business, I provide a trustworthy local dog walking service to the Newton, Notting

So this is a new venture for me and I have been quite busy setting everything up and doing the best I can to provide a good quality service to you and your pet. I offer two adventurous group dog walks a day These are in small groups of no more than 4 dogs. I want small groups to give the dogs my full attention and to keep them under proper control as well as safe in this current climate. One of th

ose dogs is most likely to be my own dog bandit as he loves a good walk with friends and is my inspiration for this business. I like to take the dogs to woodland, parks, lakes and rivers so that they can follow their natural instincts, socialise with each other in a pack environment. This is stimulating for them as well as for me because nobody likes to do the same boring trip round the block again and again. I am sure you would like to know more about me well after leaving school I spent 10 years in Germany in the British Army and I returned to the UK after I joined Nottinghamshire Police. I have worked as a Police Officer for the last 23 years but my combined service has allowed me to retire early and after a lot of thought and patient planning I am fortunate to be able to work for myself but still continue doing something that helps other people. During my time in the Police I found that walking my dog was fun and the best way to get regular exercise and relax my mind. I have met loads of lovely people through our mutual love of our pets and I could to be honest I could not wait to combine something I love in my new business venture. I have been planning this for quite some time and although I have a lot to learn from your pets I hope to provide a good quality service to both them and you. I am DBS checked, fully insured and trained in Canine first aid. I am a Gold member of NARPS UK which is the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers UK. I hold a level 1 Animal Transportation certificate and I have an appropriate vehicle professionally fitted with LINTRAN cages and suitable insulation and it is thermostatically monitored with electronic ventilation. I have also had both my Covid injections the last one being on the 8th May 2021 and I will proudly show you all of my certificates at our first meeting. please have a look at the pictures to see what walks we have been doing

What a great end to the week. I took Bandit, Raffi, Jake, Daphne and Ruby to Calverton where we found some new paths to explore. The dogs always get excited when they realise they haven’t claimed any of it before.

Lovely little walk with Bandit, Percy and Buddy this morning in Calverton. We knew it was going to rain but we timed it just right as it started to rain just as we were approaching the van. There was a lot of running about as Percy was going full speed in every direction. Buddy was following him but at a more leisurely pace. Bandit was just sniffing and making sure he was in front of the group.

I took Coco, Daphne, Marley and Floki to Gravelly Hollow today. It was misty and looked like it might rain on the way but it was actually quite mild once we got going
Floki and Coco are good pals they were chasing and playing together all the way round while Marley carried his upgraded widescreen stick happily and Daphne walked alongside me. We met some other nice dogs on our travels too

“We just sort of fell in”, they claimed with a cheeky look.
They had legged it round the corner but I wasn’t born yesterday. Marley, Floki and Jake were full of excitement as there was water and mud everywhere at Fardon Ponds today.
There was a lot of scampering and sniffing to do too.

It was raining this morning so I took Bandit, Coco, Daphne and Ruby to Blidworth Woods as I thought the trees would keep the rain off of us.
I was right and we enjoyed a pretty chilled walk through the woods

Zoooom Jake was flying about at top speed today. He loved whizzing past Bandit and Daphne like Maverick sonic booming the Air traffic control tower.
We made our way round Blidworth woods and collected some sausages from the food van.

Lovely walk at Calverton Woods today with Ruby, Bandit, Marley, Buddy and Percy.
It was very mild weather considering the freeze we had last week.

I took Coco, Daphne, Gunbo and Floki for a run around in Blidworth Woods. The dogs were happy to be back at Blidworth. They could smell the sausages cooking in Bingham already

None of us know exactly what the rules of Floki and Coco’s game are. It involves growling and chasing each other about then stopping. Catching your breath then off they go again. Me, Marley, Jake and Charlie just stay out of the way.
The sun was shining in Kneeton today but some of the fields were waterlogged so we had to take a circular round so the dogs didn’t see them.

I took Daphne, Ruby, Bandit and our special guest Harvey to Calverton Woods this morning where they all enjoyed a nice walk through the woods to the memorial and back. We met some nice dogs on the way and everyone got on really well.

Lovely crisp and fresh walk with Bandit, Jake, Daphne, Raffi and Ruby at Calverton Wood
We took a different route to mix it up a bit and the dogs definitely notice as they get all excited

Lovely ear shatteringly cold walk with Bandit, Percy and Buddy at Gravelly Hollow this morning.
The boys were overjoyed to see lots of other dogs walking their hoomans too.
