TAYLORS BUCK - Full Brother to HOYS Champion Taylors Hero.

Recently broken. Riding around the farm very happily on his own and hacking out.
Excellent with any traffic, although only been on country lanes but used to all farm machinery.

Lovely paces and he has the most fabulous temperament and very easy going. Nothing bothers him at all. He has been an absolute pleasure to do.
You couldn’t wish for a nicer, kinder, easier young horse who just wants to please and learn.
No vices. Easy to clip and trim….
Now ready to be brought on to go on and do any job.
Would be suitable, even though just broken, for a good Amateur or Professional to bring on.

Very sensibly priced as finding him the home he deserves is extremely important.

A very special day indeed for Emma Gibson’s magnificent MW Hunter ‘Noteworthy’ who returned to the ring at Stoneleigh Horse Show with a creditable 3rd in the HOYS class. A very big day for all those connected with him.

He is just the most wonderful horse in every way and an absolute pleasure to do. He genuinely loves his job and is just the ultimate Showman.

We were over the moon with how he went as he didn’t put a foot wrong and it was plain to see that he was so happy to be back in the ring.

A ‘big’ thank you to all of you who have been a part of his long journey and to our incredibly supportive sponsors.

Just the best three days at the Great Yorkshire Show. Probably our favourite show of the season.
Everything about it is just amazing and it’s an absolute privilege just to be there competing.

We started on Tuesday morning with Emma Gibson’s young Novice HW ‘Dolman Dunbrody’ who is by HHS Cornet and was only at his fourth show, and he really came into his own in the sublime Main Ring, where he grew in confidence as he went round. We were so pleased with how this big young horse coped with the atmosphere and to finish 2nd was a massive achievement for him. He then improved again in the Championship. An exciting horse for the future.

Then it was the turn of Emma Gibson’s Open HW ‘Greenhall All Business’ who really relished the space in the Main ring and galloped his heart out to finish 3rd in a very strong class.

Then on Wednesday afternoon Sarah Godfrey’s Maxi Cob ‘Randalstown Timepiece’ just cruised round like the ultimate showman he is and totally owned the ring. He went foot perfect and won the class fulfilling his owner Sarah’s dream, as when we first met she told us that her lifelong dream was to own a horse that could win a class at her local show, the Great Yorkshire.

Our horses are looking and feeling so well this season, and that is due to the amazing products that our sponsors provide us with. We thank them for their support and our home and away “Team” who are just the best - thank you all.

We had the most spectacular day at Mid Herts Show with two of Debbie Harrods exciting new Novices last weekend. Both just 6 year olds.

First was the Large Coloured Plaited ‘Knockroe Flash’ who is a recent arrival to Team Oliver. This was his first outing on English soil and he won 🥇 his class and went on to be Reserve Champion. He is one to watch and a very exciting prospect for the future.

Next up was a very special horse, the Novice Hunter ‘Randalstown Legacy’ who we have brought on slowly and carefully and this was his first time in the ring on English soil as well and he won 🥇 his class in real style. An out and out showman who we believe is going to be a real star of the future.

His stable name is ‘Sam’ and we decided with Debbie Harrod to name him ‘Randalstown Legacy’ in memory of the great Irish Dealer, Nagsman and Producer, ‘Sam McAteer’ who sadly passed away last year.
He had a very special eye for a young horse in the rough, and was of course known for finding Cobs, but he also found great Hunters over the years as well, with I believe 7 Dublin Cob Champions and many RI and HOYS Champions.
He was a great man and a dear friend to many of us, and he thought very highly of this horse.
We feel privileged to have him and to carry on his beloved Randalstown name with Cobs and now Hunters too, and we are so thrilled that Sam the horse has done Sam the man so proud on his first outing.

A true ‘Legacy’ to a great man.
