🥵Hot Weather🥵

With the current extreme weather, please take care when bringing your pets to their appointments. Please try and travel animals in an air conditioned car and avoid walking dogs to the practice.

You can place a cool damp towel/blanket in the bottom of carriers for small animals or cats.

If you want to rearrange your appointment, we completely understand and would prefer you to move the appointment until next week if you feel it not safe for your pet.

We've had a report of an all black cat that was clipped by a car at Kilcot junction. This happened at 18.10pm this evening (17th).
Unfortunately the driver was unable to stop and the cat seemed to run away immediately afterwards.
Can we please ask that all those local to the area please keep an eye out, and if at all possible, please bring it to us.
We close at 7pm and reopen 8.30am tomorrow.

Meet Biscuit 🐱🐈

Biscuit is Zoe the receptionists cat. He came in last week to have his eyes checked by Vet Karin, as he seemed to have sore and crusty eyes. Luckily it was looking much better after using some drops.

Whilst Biscuit was here, he got to have an explore of the consult room to make him a bit more confident when he comes to visit the vets, and he even had a little photo shoot with nurse Lauren. We welcome any pets to come and have a look around the practice when its not for an appointment so they can gain some confidence. With Dogs we advise you bring them in as much as possible for a weigh on the scales, some cuddles and treats off the staff, and then go home.. this is to help them realise that its not always bad when visiting the vets.

Meet Basil 🐶

The one eyed border terrier!! He wasn't feeling too great this morning so he came to see our Vet Helen!

As you can see Basil can't leave the practice without a toy to take home.. today he picked our newly stocked Lemur Kong Toy! He was sooo excited by it that it was quite impossible to get a good shot of him throwing it around the waiting room.. soo here are a few blurry action shots.. and some cute ones too!

We will make sure we get a different toy in for the next time you visit Basil!! And the Lemur toy will be restocked next week 🐒🐒
