We’re thrilled to be teaming up with The British Horse Society (BHS) to help celebrate their campaign all about the need, the feel, and the brand – for the feeling! 💙

This week, we want to hear from YOU, our amazing WRC community!

🌟 FIT WEEK HIGHLIGHT! 🌟

We were absolutely delighted to welcome Gemma from Wirral Equine Vets today as part of our Fit Week! 🐴💪

This week has been all about understanding the importance of fitness, hydration and nutrition — for both us and our horses. We’ve explored horse weight, balance and alignment, and how these all link to welfare, rider position and movement.

Gemma’s visit was the perfect addition to the week — she shared her fantastic knowledge and experience, showing us:
🦶 What to look for when picking out our horses’ feet
🤲 How to feel down their legs and identify key areas to focus on
🐎 How to assess body condition and what it tells us about our horses’ health

We even got to take a closer look at X-rays and see real-life examples on our own horses — such an engaging, hands-on session!

A huge thank you to Gemma for spending the day with us. 💙 We’re so excited about this partnership and can’t wait to see how you’ll continue to support our CLTH young people in the future! 🌟

The horse hire form has just been updated so there is plenty of choice.

Pony Club group 1 testing out their art skills today in this miserable weather! We were meant to be labelling points of the horse for our achievement badge but we got distracted by their awesome art skills!
Pony club is on alternate weekend days and is great way to gain knowledge and experience on the yard as well as making new friends and enjoying the social side of riding. Check out our website for more info

WOW! Swipe to see the amazing progress and finished product of our bathroom walls. This was one of our projects that has been fabulous. It has allowed the creativity of our Young people to shine through and now they have a huge amount of ownership over such a beautiful project!

I think you will all agree that their artwork is stunning - they are all very talented ✨ Hopefully there is more to come 🎨
