We are now offering stage 2 training course covering the care and lunge syllabus. This will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7pm-8pm with Debbie. This course will cover the whole stage 2 care and lunge syllabus and is open to anyone who wants to learn more indepth care than stage 1 or those wishing to take their BHS stage 2 exam.
This will start on 16th Sept and places must be booked in advance, there is the option to join the 8pm-9pm ride afterwards with Mel.....we will even throw in a cup of tea in between!!

Whether you’re beginning your journey with horses, or want to build your career in the industry, a Stage 2 qualification will give you the start you need.

Wirral Riding Centre is a friendly, professional, and well-established riding centre offering high-quality tuition for riders of all levels. We are passionate about horse welfare, rider development, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike. We run sessions for RDA, Alternative Provision, Special Olympics and private and group lessons.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a BHS Qualified Riding Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis, primarily working weekend days and weekday evenings. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent tuition across a range of abilities, from beginner to advanced riders. Must have own transport.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and safe riding lessons to individuals and groups.

Teach a mix of flatwork, jumping, and stable management as required.

Support riders working towards BHS qualifications.

Maintain high standards of horse care and yard safety.

Contribute to the positive and supportive atmosphere of the yard.

Requirements:

BHS Stage 2 Teach (or higher) qualification required.

Proven experience teaching riders of varying ages and abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for equestrianism and a positive, can-do attitude.

Must be available to work weekends and evenings on a regular basis.

We’re so excited to welcome everyone back for the start of the 2025–26 academic year! We hope you’ve all had a lovely summer and are feeling rested and refreshed. ☀️

At CLTH at WRC, our team is ready with calm, friendly faces to greet each of our young people. We understand that six weeks without routine can be a big adjustment — but we’re here to support that transition every step of the way.

🌺 🐴 A huge thank you to the incredibly talented for the beautiful hand-drawn artwork she has designed and painted for our brand-new training room here at Wirral Riding Centre! 🎨✨

We can’t wait to add the finishing touches, bring in the furniture, and see this room come to life ready for the new academic year. This space will be another room that is at the heart of what we do — supporting our CLTH young people, while also giving our staff the opportunity to progress in their own training and qualifications. 💛

A new, quiet, inspiring room is just what we need — and this artwork has made it truly unique 🐴
