🐴 Riding school horses – riders must complete a Horse Hire Form before entering so we can check their chosen horse is available.

⭐🐴 NEW AT WIRRAL RIDING CENTRE – BHS PONY STARS! 🐴⭐

We’re very excited to announce the launch of BHS Pony Stars at Wirral Riding Centre!

📅 LAUNCHING SUNDAY 4TH OCTOBER 2026
⏰ 1:30pm – 3:30pm
💷 £22 per 2-hour session

Designed especially for younger riders, Pony Stars is a fun and rewarding programme from The British Horse Society, helping children develop their riding skills, pony-care knowledge, confidence and independence.

⭐⭐⭐ Welshie Wizzers
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Connemara Champs

Pony Stars isn't just about riding! Children will learn how to groom, handle and care for ponies, understand pony welfare and safety, make friends, develop responsibility and teamwork, and build valuable life skills.

🏆 Children can work towards badges, certificates and achievements, giving them plenty to celebrate as their confidence and skills grow.

We recently had 8 candidates from the IOM come over and take their stage 1 ride & care , all candidates were of a high standard and clearly had put the work in before coming over.
They all passed both the ride & care , well done 👏👏👏

🐴💚💛 PONY CLUB IS CHANGING! 💛💚🐴

We’re making some exciting changes to the way Pony Club at Wirral Riding Centre is run, with Olivia now taking all Pony Club groups and a greater focus on helping every rider progress.

⭐ SENIOR PONY CLUB – EVERY THURSDAY
For our senior riders, working around Groups 3 & 4.

The Senior Pony Club will have a more progressive focus, including:

🏆 Working towards competitions
🐴 Developing riding and horse-care skills
⭐ Building confidence and responsibility
👩‍🏫 Working towards becoming Junior Instructors
🤝 Learning how to support and help younger riders

⭐ SATURDAY PONY CLUB – ALTERNATE SATURDAYS

Saturday sessions will alternate between:

🐴 Groups 1 & 2
🐴 Groups 2 & 3

These groups will run on alternate Saturdays.

Olivia and Michelle will explain which group you will be in this weekend. If you’re unsure or would like to check beforehand, you can call us in the office and we’ll be happy to let you know.

⚠️ SUNDAY PONY CLUB

This week will be our FINAL Sunday Pony Club. After this week, there will be no Pony Club sessions on Sundays.

💷 NEW PRICE – £24 FOR 2 HOURS

All Pony Club sessions will now cost £24 for the full 2-hour session.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – PONY CLUB MEMBERSHIP

🐴 ALL RIDERS MUST BE FULLY PAID MEMBERS OF THE PONY CLUB UK TO TAKE PART.

Please make sure your membership is active and fully paid before attending your sessions.

We’re really excited about the new format and creating a clearer pathway for our riders to develop their skills, compete, take on more responsibility and potentially become the next generation of Junior Instructors at Wirral Riding Centre.
