Buster enjoyed his cuddles with Keira when he came in for a puppy check this week.

Storm is a regular visitor for her pesky ear issues but she’s never fussed and is always a gem to treat!

🐾 Reggie, Kitty and Herbie 🐾

3 of our lovely patients this week who were all in for neutering procedures and will be hopefully taking it a bit easy this weekend!

🐾 Bob was just the happiest little chap when he came in this week for his castration. He spent most of his time upside down preferring to wave his legs in the air rather than use them for their intended purpose.

🐾 Mildred is a very much loved and well looked after chicken who was very happy to have a selfie with Anna.

🐾 Open day and dog show 2025 🐾

🎉 Thank-you to everyone who came today and massive thanks to our wonderful team for all their hard work 🎉

🎉 Open day and dog show tomorrow! 🎉

Come along and join the fun. sendadogaboneuk will be on site handing out free doggy ice cream to all dogs in attendance!

We have lots to see and do, plenty of cake, 4 classes to enter in the dog show and all funds raised will be donated to St Elizabeth Hospice.

🐾 11am- 2pm 🐾

Please use local parking. There is plenty on offer a very minimal walk away. The front spaces will be reserved for disabled parking but our carpark will be being used for the dog show!

🎉 This Saturday - 31st May 11-2 🎉

Don’t forget it our open day and dog show this Saturday.

Fun and games for all the family, including your 4 legged canine friends.

Proceeds raised going to St Elizabeth Hospice in memory of our lovely Anna’s wonderful mum.

4 dog show classes to enter, all friendly and fun, all breeds and ages welcome!

For those driving; disabled parking at the high street end of the building (old front of building). Otherwise please use the plentiful local parking and on street parking nearby so that we can use our carpark for the dog show!

Prizes to be won, fun to be had, cake to be eaten!

Happy bank holiday weekend!

🐾This week we managed to catch one of our camera shy vets on camera! Izzy is seen here with the lovely cat Fincher after his neutering procedure earlier this week.

🐾 Keira is pictured with Humphrey after his surgery today.

🐾 Jessie wrapped up warm post sedation today has perfected the puppy eyes.

🐾 Spia recovering and full of beans wanting belly rubs after her dental procedure to remove 4 teeth.

Our team at Bury St Edmunds Veterinary Centre this weekend will be on hand to help if needed, they are open 8-4 Saturday, 9-12 Sunday and Monday and on call outside of these hours for emergnecies.

❤️ 3 of today’s beautiful patients! ❤️

🐾 Lola modelling one of the lovely jumpers made by Maia’s Nan that help keep our patients warm when under anaesthetic. Jenny operated on Lola’s troublesome kneecaps to keep them where they should be.

🐾 Mabel was a stubborn but brave pup who had surgery today on a problematic skin fold.

🐾 Dash is a very handsome fella who came in to pick up his flea and worming treatment.

🎉 Open day and dog show - Saturday 31st May 2025 🎉

Make sure you get this date in your diary and come and join the fun.

🐾 we are running a fun dog show alongside our open day.

🐾 entry is just £2 per class with all proceeds to charity. Entry is on the day.

🐾 We have 4 classes with rosettes to the top 3 in each class.

🐾 All breeds and all ages able to enter.

🐾 Judged by our nurse and behaviourist Helen!

🐾 The finale of the day will be the treat catching competition. Sausages will be provided but if your dog has allergies or medical issues that mean these are unsuitable bring your own and we will use these so your dog doesn’t miss out on the fun!

Happy Friday!! If you need us this weekend then our sister practice Bury St Edmunds Veterinary Centre is open 8-4 sat, 9-12 Sunday and Monday with out of hours care around this. Just call our normal number 01449 797111 and you will be connected with them. We will be open again at 8am Tuesday.
