Just a quick message to say I'm currently fully booked for the summer. Please let me know if you need to rearrange your dogs grooming appointment due to this weeks extreme heat.
Do not walk your dogs to me, a quick trip in the car will be much better for them.
My cabin is fully air conditioned and a cool 18 degrees, so comfortable for me to continue grooming, and there is plenty of fresh drinking water available for the dogs.

‼️Pesky grass seeds‼️

I noticed one of my own dogs licking her paw this morning.
I gave her foot a trim and found a swelling between her toes. There were two little puncture wounds so guessed a grass seed had worked its way into her skin.
A quick trip to the vet, where they flushed the hole, and a grass seed was found.

Grass seeds are everywhere at the moment and can quickly pe*****te your dogs skin. Keep checking your dogs feet, armpits and ears after their walks and save yourselves a trip to the vets.

My wrist is recovering well and I'm back at work. I've a busy couple of weeks ahead catching up with the dogs I had to reschedule as well as those who were already booked in.
In fact, June and July are extremely busy with just the odd one or two appointments available. So if you haven't already booked, please get in touch to secure a slot.

Important Update: It turns out all those puppy clips, blow-dries and scissor finishes have caught up with my wrist again...

Important Update:
It turns out all those puppy clips, blow-dries and scissor finishes have caught up with my wrist again, so I’m booked in for another cortisone injection next week to work its magic.
A massive thank you to all the wonderful clients I’ve already spoken to and rescheduled—your understanding and support mean the absolute world to me.
I will need a few days off work post-jab to recover, but I’ll be back at the grooming table in no time.
Thanks for your patience, and I can't wait to see all your lovely pups soon! ✂️🐶
