Well, we had a little bit of normality this morning! It was finally cool enough to get some decent walks in!

That said, today’s weather has felt absolutely magical and completely insane all at once. We started with a huge thunderstorm this morning, followed almost instantly by sunshine just in time for mine and Jasper’s walk. We absolutely loved it, and even got to watch the local barn owl out on its morning hunt. Such a special moment.

Roy and Oz enjoyed a lovely steady stroll, with plenty of enrichment along the way, sniffing through the long grass and hunting out little treats. A perfect way to get those sniffers working!

And Cooper… well, he definitely doesn’t need any help using his nose. He knows exactly what he’s doing! Today I simply followed wherever Cooper wanted to go and sniff, and he absolutely loved every second of it.

The sun is back in full swing now, so once it cools down again later, we’ll be heading out with the Titan & Co gang, and of course little Miss Coco too 🐾

As the weather is starting to warm up, I just wanted to share a quick update about our dog walking routines to keep all of your lovely dogs safe and comfortable.
Once temperatures reach around 20°C and above, we’ll be making a few adjustments. Walks will take place much earlier in the morning to avoid the midday heat, and we’ll be choosing shadier, woodland areas wherever possible to help keep things cool.
Your dogs’ wellbeing is always my top priority, so on warmer days we’ll also:�• Keep walks shorter if needed�• Make sure plenty of water and rest breaks are available�• Avoid hot pavements that can burn paws�• Monitor dogs closely for any signs of overheating
If the temperature becomes too high, walks may be replaced with shorter outings, enrichment time, or garden visits instead.

It's been a busy week here at Chasing Tails!

A big welcome to the newest member of the gang, Angus! He's such a cute little pooch and we're so happy to have him join us.

Ned and Peggy had a busy Wednesday, joining me on all my morning walks and helping welcome Angus to the gang. They all got on brilliantly and loved each other's company from the start!

Cooper has been enjoying our regular strolls, taking in all the sights and smells along the way, and making sure not a single sniff gets missed! 🐾😂

Roy and Ozzy have been the goodest boys as always, making every visit a pleasure and keeping me smiling.

And Jasper, wonderfully crazy as usual!!

It's been lovely spending time with all these wonderful dogs this week. Here's to more adventures, wagging tails, and happy walks ahead! 🐾

Then it was off for our second adventure with Peggy and Ned, and wow, we definitely got the hilly miles in today!! My legs are feeling it now, but these happy doggos make it so worthwhile every single time!

Lots of waggy tails, sniffy adventures, and happy pups all round today 🥰
