🐾❤️ Meet Harriette! ❤️🐾

Did you know that Harriette, my 13-year-old daughter, is also a qualified Pet First Aider and trained in dog CPR? 🩹🐶

That means there are two people in our household trained in pet first aid and dog CPR, giving you that extra reassurance when your dogs are in our care. 🐾

Harriette absolutely loves coming down to the field and spending time with all the dogs. She loves playing with them, giving them cuddles and, of course, always manages to sneak in a little bit of training while she’s there! 😂🐕

She’s currently trying to balance being a cool dog trainer and pet first aider with the very important job of being a teenager… but for some extra points in the cool daughter department, Harriette has just been selected to join West Yorkshire Police Cadets and starts next Tuesday! 👮‍♀️❤️

I genuinely couldn’t be any prouder of her. She’s only 13 and already showing so much dedication, responsibility and compassion.

What a cool daughter I have! 🥹❤️🐾

😂🐾 Amber has us completely trained!

We’re looking after this gorgeous girl and she has made one thing very clear… the stroking does NOT stop! 😂

Every time you stop, Amber immediately starts pawing your hand like, “Excuse me… I didn’t say you could stop!” 🐾😂

She’s definitely got us wrapped around her little paw! ❤️🐺

Big shout out to my new friend Cassie.

Cassie has been rescued by her new lovely owners to become best new sister to brothers Flynn and Ben.

Their lovely sister passed away recently and the boys just werent getting along too well without a special girl in their lives.

So along came Cassie a rescue whippet. I went round to call on the trio on Monday and I was greeted with such warmth by the new family member. I began to wonder if it was Cassie who knew me originally or Ben and Flynn. (Thanks boys) 🤣🤣

So Mr Dougie was back yesterday after a few weeks off.

Shall we say hes had a bit of a jumbled year.

Mr Dougie is famous on our page for his weekly galavanting. The second he is called to get in the van at the field he would decide to completely forget his name and do a runner for anything upto 45 minutes around the field. Having myself and any other grown adult or child engaging in a game of chase 🤣

After several of his escapades we put Doug on a long line for a while, so we could get him loaded back in after a good play.

Then Mr Dougie had an injury and was off for quite a while. He hurt his paw and had to stay home with his family ☹️. Dougie missed his walkies.

When Dougie came back we kept him on a short lead at the field and I let him go a few times each walk and he came back.

Yesterday after a few weeks off due to my holiday... I decided to let Dougie have complete freedom. He was so happy to see his pals. He couldnt wait to say Hi to everyone. They all gathered around him. He had a good roll on his back and a run around.

As you can see here, we think he looks well suited with himself 🤣

THEN, when it was time to go home... Mr Dougs went and waited patiently by the van, the first doggy to be loaded in. No shenanigans. Zero tomfoolery. 🫨.

A reformed character and a very smart young Dougie indeed.

Morning guys.

What was supposed to be a nice ten days off for me has actually turned into me staying home most of that time being ill!

Typical when I have tried to have some time off.

I will be back to work as normal on Monday.

I have some availability remaining for boarding next month if anyone is looking for any dates ❤️
