🐴Full or 5 Day Livery Spaces Available🐴

We currently have availability for 5 Day Full Livery, or 7 Day Full Livery for 2 Mares and 2 Geldings at Calder Farm in Mirfield.

Our fabulous yard is set in a fantastic position to offer miles of off road hacking.

Millie Matthews and her team provide an excellent service, we strive to care for each horse as if they are our own, taking every horses needs into consideration.

Our yard has excellent facilities which are available to all livery’s, these include:

🐴 12 x 12 brick built stables with tack room space
🐴 2 flood lit all weather arenas (1 with mirrors)
🐴 hot wash bay & cold wash bay
🐴Farrier Bay
🐴 solarium
🐴 Amazing off road hacking
🐴 horse walker
🐴 poorly/lami paddocks (for any horses needed restricted grazing due to injury or illness)
🐴hardstanding paddocks
🐴 full yard alarm system
🐴 use of jumps and poles
🐴 all year turn out
🐴 Secure Horsebox/Trailer Parking
🐴 Selection of bedding direct from the yard
🐴Weekly Feed Deliveries
🐴 summer and winter fields in herds of up to 6 (mares and gelding separate)

We currently have availability for 1 DIY MARE and 1 FULL LIVERY GELDING at Calder Farm in Mirfield.

Our fabulous yard is run by a welcoming friendly yard team who all have a wealth of experience caring for horses. We strive to care for each horse as if they are our own, taking every horses needs into consideration.

Our yard has excellent facilities which are available to all livery’s, these include:

🐴 12 x 12 brick built stables with tack room space
🐴 2 flood lit all weather arenas (1 with mirrors)
🐴 hot wash bay & cold wash bay
🐴 solarium
🐴 Amazing off road hacking

🎉Groom Vacancy🎉

Enthusiastic Groom required to join our equine care team at Calder Farm on a part time basis .

The role on offer is 24 hours a week working over 3 days. (More hours may be available in the future)

Absolute musts for anyone who thinks they may be interested are:

* You must be friendly, approachable and personable our liveries are lovely and like to say hello!
* You must love all our Livery horses as much as we do
* You must be 100% reliable
* You must have a good level of Equine knowledge and experience
* You must be willing to battle the elements
* You must be organised, happy to arrange cover with other team members this is a 7 day a week operation
* You must be able to work on your own, using your own initiative.
* You must muck out and complete yard tasks to a high standard
* You must be happy to work on a rota - we are happy for team members to swap etc as long as the yard is covered.
* It would also be helpful if you like dogs and cats as both are residents and Love a snuggle!

In return you get to be situated on a yard with cracking facilities, a great set of customers and some lovely well mannered neddies.

We are happy for you to offer additional services such as exercising clipping etc but the day to day livery tasks must come first.

✨Part Time Groom Vacancy at Calder Farm Mirfield WF14✨

We are looking for an enthusiastic groom to join our equine care team at Calder Farm (hours to be discussed, weekend work will be expected.)

Absolute musts for anyone who thinks they may be interested are:

* You must be friendly, approachable and personable our liveries are lovely and like to say hello!
* You must love all our Livery horses as much as we do
* You must be 100% reliable
