🐶 ‼️ New Rule: Dogs Must Be Kept On Leads In MK Woodlands ‼️ 🐶

Calling all dogs owners – The Parks Trust need your help to protect wildlife in our ancient woodlands! 🐶

From 1 March 2026, The Parks Trust are asking for dogs to be kept on leads all-year-round in Shenley and Linford Wood, as well as Howe Park Wood where this already applies.

Previously, dogs were only asked to be kept on leads during breeding season (March to September) but this change to all-year-round will ensure wildlife is also protected in hibernation season.

The Parks Trust are making this plea to prevent disturbance to these sensitive habitats which are home to endangered animals and rare plant species.
