8.30am - 12.15pm & 1.30pm - 7pm Monday to Friday
8.30am - 1pm Saturday

Fourteen and fabulous 🐾🎉

A huge happy 14th birthday to lovely Gemma, a gorgeous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! She celebrated in style (and looked absolutely adorable in her party hat 💕)

Gemma attends our pain clinics with our wonderful vet Cat, where she also receives acupuncture to help keep her comfortable — and we’re so proud of how well she’s doing. It’s always such a joy to see her sweet face and wagging tail when she visits us.

Here’s to many more comfy, happy days ahead, Gemma 💖🐶

We have had a male entire DSH cat handed into us at our Mauchline branch who sadly was found deceased. He doesn’t have a microchip but has a black tail, white chest. Please call us on 01290 550452.

***ROAD CLOSURE ON BURNSIDE ROAD 2ND - 6TH FEBRUARY***

We have been made aware that Burnside Road which provides access to our car park round the back will be closed next week. Please allow extra time for arriving for your appointment as parking will be available on the main road but may be limited in spaces.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but are in contact with the contractors completing the roadworks to cause minimal disruption.

With Christmas and New Year approaching, we’d like to remind all our clients to please order any repeat medications or prescription requests for your pets in good time!

👉 Please ensure all orders are placed by 22nd December to avoid anyone running out while we are closed!

⏰ Important opening hours:
• Christmas Eve: Open until 6pm
• Christmas Day & Boxing Day: Closed
• Saturday 27th December: Closed
• 31st December: Open until 6pm
• 1st & 2nd January: Closed
• Saturday 3rd January: Open as usual

📌 Please remember we require 48 hours’ notice for all prescription requests.

We have unfortunately been handed in a stray cat involved in a road traffic accident, he was found this morning on Mary Morrison Drive, mauchline. He is a neutered male domestic short hair with tabby and white markings, adult age, with no microchip. If you believe this cat belongs to you please give us a call on 01290 550452💙

The festive season is fast approaching, and we want to make sure all our clients—and their pets—are well prepared.

📅 Please see our Christmas opening hours below (image attached), including the days we are open, closed, and any early closures over the holiday period.

💊 Medication Requests
To ensure your pet doesn’t run out of essential medication over Christmas and New Year, please place any repeat prescription orders by Wednesday 17th December.
This helps us make sure everything is ready for you before the holiday rush.

🌙 Out-of-Hours Care
When our clinics are closed, Vets Now will be covering our emergency out-of-hours service. If your pet needs urgent veterinary attention outside our opening hours, please contact your usual practice number and you will be directed to Vets Now.
