We've had enough rain 🌧 to make the going very good 👍...

Had quite a few queries about ditches...

↔️ We will NOT have a ditch in the 60cm.

↔️ We will have a ditch in the 70cm but it will be optional. You can avoid it by taking a longer route (with no penalties) - however if you present and have a stop you will pick up 20 penalties

↔️ We will have a ditch in the 80/90/100 classes.

🐎🐎🐎HUNTER TRIAL UPDATE 🐎🐎🐎

🌼🌼🌼Our Rosettes have arrived 🌼🌼🌼

Firstly,....
We are very sorry to learn that Hackthorn Hunter Trial have made the decision not to run this year. We love the event, always attend and always support them. Being a sponsor for the last 5 years we look forward to their return back in 2027.

Its Just over 2 weeks before we run on Sat 12th September.
Entries are coming in now but are still lower than previous events. We are keeping an eye on this and will update as we know more.

👓 PLEASE READ BELOW CAREFULLY 👓

➡️ Our XC course will be closed from Monday 7th September whilst we prepare.

➡️ Our entries close Monday 7th September, 12 noon/midday @ the current entry fee.

➡️ Late entries will be accepted up until 12 MIDNIGHT Wednesday 9th September but will incur a £5 late entry fee per rider/horse.

➡️ We are in need of a COFFEE ☕️ and wagon / trailer pls for the day.

➡️ Pls shout if you can help on the day as we need volunteers for fence Judging, warm up, start box. If you can help pls message me on 07890563597.

All sponsors are provided with Lunch, a hot drink and a Winters Equestrian Cross Country XC training vouchers (per car for fence judging)

All classes 1st - 3rd will qualify for Eland Lodge National Hunt Trial Championships, however please note that Eland Lodge ONLY run an 80 pairs champs class, so if you get placed 1-3rd in 60 pairs or 70 pairs you can enter the HT champs 🏆 individual classes.

We are aware that its been an incredibly long dry summer but our ground has held up remarkably well and the field is already so much greener 🌱 after some decent downpours.

We have started prep for our September HT! ...
If you are coming please get your entries in sooner rather than later so we can plan accordingly for the day. Thank you 😊

Classes are listed below:-

60 cm pairs & Individual
70 cm pairs & individual
80 cm pairs & individual
90 cm Individual
1m. Individual

Rosettes 1st - 6th.
Prizes 1st - 3rd

The 1m class will run across the 90cm track (with 1m fences added) to create combinations and some technical lines. Inviting up to height brush fences will also be included in the 100.

As always we aim to provide a fun, relaxed and welcoming day, XC courses designed to encourage horse and rider, questions at each level as expected for an unaffiliated event.

This event is a qualifier for the Ariat HT championships taking place 26 & 27th September 🏆at Eland Lodge
