Agility , Rally obedience, Gundog training, Gundog scurries, games, bingo, quiz, pizza night, BBQ night and lovely cooked breakfast oh and just a few drinkies!

Things are hotting up again over the next 5-6 days another heatwave on the way with some days reaching 28-29 degrees!

As most of you know we put your dogs welfare first and we don’t train them in the heat, firstly it’s not fair on them and also you don’t get the best out of them as they are hot and can’t be bothered. A bit like we are when it’s hot expect they have a fur coat on.

We will make a decision each day based on the weather if we are training or not and we will post on here the updates. Please respect our decision as your dogs welfare comes first.

In the meantime please don’t walk your dogs if it’s 21 degrees or over, keep them cool indoors, use paddling pools, cool coats and cool mats during this mini heatwave……..

We had another fabulous weekend doing obedience and gundog displays in the main arena at the Armed Forces Day in Crewe. At times it got hot so obviously the welfare of our dogs came first, we had to cut a couple of the performances short to get the dogs back to the shade and into their cool coats and on their cool mats.

It’s always a great show and for such an amazing cause which we fully support.

*****CANCELLED CLASSES******

The temperature is going to be high tomorrow so for the welfare of your dogs we have taken the hard decision to cancel all classes tomorrow (Monday 30th)

Please don’t walk your dogs keep them cool and indoors using cool mats, cool coats, wet towels, bowls of water, paddling pools in the shade, plain yoghurt frozen in a kong or frozen carrots can all help keep your dogs cool

Hopefully it will be cooling down the rest of the week so we will review the temperatures each day
