Pretty good birthday weekend despite a grotty bug which has knocked me sideways and left me without a voice. Chocolate milkshake and a pedicure yesterday with my sidekick and a trip to today to win her some frillies as promised. Nibbles jumped on the fun bus for a school round and didn’t disappoint, Oscar 2nd in the newcomers and 4th in the 1.20m with a mega clear. Thanks to as always.

This 6yo, 16h Mare by Tullabeg Fusion is an out and out grassroots contender.

Having showjumped until now with a good record at BN, Polly has just ventured into the world of cross country and has so much to offer as an outstanding Badminton Grassroots prospect.

She is polite to ride, stays on a line, has bags of scope and was pretty much impossible to catch out.

Polly rides in a lovely frame on the flat and is totally unflappable under saddle, she would produce a very accurate test and is not phased by anything going on around her. She is very diligent and focussed on the job at hand.

Polly has plenty of ring experience so far having showjumped with a teenage rider, she is keen to please and very careful over poles.

She is looking for her new 🏠 where she can really shine, she has an incredibly bright future ahead of her and for someone looking to form a lasting partnership with a really competitive horse she is a very rare find.

Polly has the scope to go on to higher levels of eventing so would also suit someone with the ambition to climb the levels, yet she will also perform incredibly sensibly at the lower levels and temper her jump accordingly.

6yo Dougie the absolute dude is an absolute ‘go anywhere - do anything’ type of horse.

He’s been slowly produced by one very careful lady owner. Since being here he’s started jumping and he LOVES it! He is such a fun guy and literally rides round with a smile on his face!

He’s got loads of scope and a super eye for a stride, with a bit of polishing on the flat he is a super grassroots contender with the ability to do plenty of other jobs too - he’s been on a hunt ride and has a leg in each corner with a very clean rhythmical canter.
